Carl Mandry Appreciation thread

We watch him get shot. We watch him get his teeth knocked out not once, not twice but thrice. And more importantly we watch him grow from an energy guy to a devastating low post option in 3 short years.

What if he was 3 inches taller??? He'd still be with us, and he'd be an all star. Thanks for all the hard work Carl landry!

Is my favorite player in the NBA. His toughness, inside scoring, and true professionalism will be missed. Definitely wish him the best of luck in Sacramento, he and Tyreke can be great.

Yea, I really enjoy watching him play and he's easily one of my favorite players in a league full of players I don't give a damn about. I admire his toughness and how hard he plays. He will be missed.
We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

He took a bullet then came back a week later and balled. He'll be missed. The Kings have a nice front court forming to go with Evans. They need a SF or SG that can defend and make shots and they'll be good.

Carl Landry is one of those players that young athletes should look up to. Only a handful of NBA athletes can match his toughness and work ethic.

Wish him all the best!!! :usa:

Nothing but respect and praise for Landry. It sucks to see him leave, but I'll be rooting for him regardless of where he goes.

I loved his response after being shot. Don't recall if it was here or not. At work, can't check. Was something about trusting God to protect him: admittedly a difficult thing to think about with bullets whizzing by your head and people chasing you

I'll miss Carl...he came into the NBA at 24 but never missed a beat.

Got shot...yet came back a week or two later.
Lost a few teeth...plays two nights later

Will always hope he does well, just not against us.

Be excited. The dude is a monster. He's usually good for a OMGWTFJUMPFROMSEAT at least once a game.
