The Lakers are still the top dog.. until some other team knocks us out, we're still the team to beat.

Ferry reminds me of Jerry Krause. After missing badly on Larry Hughes and Ben Wallace, Ferry has done an excellent job if getting guys that FIT well around LBJ and the overall Cavs system.

I love Kupchak for Cook->Ariza, Radman->Brown, and Kwame->Gasol but he hasn't done the greatest job IMO of filling out the roster with GOOD FIT PLAYERS.

To be fair though, he is handcuffed by the contracts of Vujachick and "Heavy-Tongue".

imagine how good a team we'd be if we gave up sasha to free agency and signed ronnie instead. ronnie would have had plenty of suitors this year because he's a big and he's such an energy guy, lots of teams would want that guy

it's still the lakers all the way. no need to worry. jamison is good but will be schooled by pau bynum odom AND artest. lebron has choked in big moments in the playoffs every now and then, shaq is done, mo williams is overrated. it's nice to see the lakers have remained calm and confident on thursday, they are the top dog and I don't see anybody upset this team with this unreal combination of inside-outside talent. while jamison is nice, he is not as physical as amare. sad for them but they don't have what it takes.

You guys calling Jamison a bad trade are right so far.

Jamison debuts 0 for 12 as Cavs suffer second straight loss

He'll be fine. All things considered, a great trade.

Great trade considering who they gave up. I still question how they are built...their 2nd option is a jumpshooting PF with an average jumpshot.

If they can't get Ilgauskas they could be in trouble.

theres no doubt that the cavs are probably gonna get ilgauskas back

jamison had an off shooting night, theres no reason why he wouldnt be able to hit those shots consistently once he settles in with the cavs

tonight was a blip

Not really. Jamison has been playing bad for a while now. Check out his numbers in February:

0-12 for 2 points
6-18 for 16 points
4-12 for 9 points
4-10 for 11 points
2-17 for 8 points.

Comes out to 38%FG and 0,67 points per shot for the month.

Go back a few more games into January:
10-26 for 21 points
3-13 for 9 points
11-23 for 27 points
8-16 for 20 points
4-14 for 8 points
2-10 for 7 points
6-17 for 28 points
11-25 for 34 points

Totals since January 15th:
71-213 and 33%FG
0.94 points per shot.

Not very good for a PF.

Jamison will be the fourth option for them after Mo Williams and Shaq.

Jamison will be a role playing bench scorer that will allow them to give a "new look" unlike any thing they were capable of puttng on the floor before.
