Win @Cleveland, lose @Washington

Post#1 » by erudite23 » Sat Feb 20, 2010 3:40 am

At least we aren't the only ridiculously inconsistent team in our division. Gotta love the Nuggs giving that game away. Must have been exhausted from the game last night after how hard they fought for it. With a win tonight we can move into a tie for 2nd in the West...

Anyone think the Nuggs are in trouble headed down the stretch here?

Well we're certaintly on pace to pass them off. Just have to win on the road. I'm skeptical of our consistency but it looks good right now. HCA against them would be huge.

How epic would a Nuggets/Jazz second round series be.

Do the 3 division champions get seeds 1-3 or are they just guaranteed home court? I can't ever remember.

Nope, only thing winning your division guarantees is a top 4 spot.

Back to backs really are tough, no matter what you guys think. Elite teams even have problems with them. This was against a bottom dweller too.

It could go either way, like I've said before the Nuggets have had one of the easiest schedules according to SOS, but they have also been really good against the top teams. They have beaten the Lakers and Cavs twice, plus the Jazz 3 times.

The division is up for grabs at this point....If Denver stays consistent against contenders they should win the division but I'm going to say it; bookmark it, whatever you want but...... the Jazz will win the NW division.

The last two months of the season schedule wise is considerably easier than what the Jazz have faced up to this point, and also easier than what Denver will face the rest of the way. If the Jazz have matured and can stay above .500 on the road (13-12 currently) the division is theirs for the taking.

...............Don't look now but OKC has won 7 in a row, trying to make a late push for the division.
