"Portland's Brandon Roy ? who had missed 15 of the previous 17 games with a strained right hamstring, sitting out the second half of Tuesday's 109-87 win over the Los Angeles Clippers ? went 34 minutes but was ineffective, lacking explosion with any of his moves. The three-time All-Star had nine points, four rebounds and one assist, but three of the points came on a first-quarter bank shot from the top of the key with the shot clock about to expire.

"I have to continue to try to get my rhythm, get a feel for what I can do out there," Roy said. "I've had a lot of time away from basketball. I'm still trying to find my way with this team. They've been playing good basketball, and I'm trying to figure out how I can get in there and help, and get back to where I was. It seems like it's going to take a couple of games, and this was a tough team to come back against."

Roy said the hamstring felt about as it did against the Clippers.

"There's some soreness, but I've come to the point where it's going to be there, and I have to figure out how to play with it," he said."

Nothing about he is not gonna play.

Abour Memo, it is uncertain. No news. He planned not to play vs Blazers, because his son birth was planned for today or tomorrow.

What? I thought on the broadcast they said Memo was gonna play in this one? And it isn't until tomorrow.

Your right, since we never play Sundays, every Friday and Saturday automatically feels like a Jazz night to me :cry:

I can't remember if it was the trib or locke, but I'm pretty sure I heard he won't make it up for tomorrow.

OT- Dre needs to grow that fro back out, he looks dope.

My god. Memo is not out. They said at least 10 times during the game tomorrow that Memo is going to meet the team in Portland.

Mehmet Okur left the Jazz to be with his wife as she delivered their first son, Yigit , weighing 8 pounds 2 ounces, on Friday. Okur will not rejoin the Jazz for Sunday's game in Portland, which will finish their four-game trip.

I heard this too, and it was initially reported that he would NOT play in this game but before they went off the air last night they said he would play.
