Down 110-114
2:10 to go in OT

This looks pretty "not good" again.
Comon, lets go Thunder!!

I don't understand why Scott started Thabo instead of James in OT. It's against the Knicks, you need to outscore them, they're playing with 3 guards, Thabo is wearing glasses and James has been better all game long.

Collison has been great, 117-116 with 32.6 secs to go.

durant was clutch but this was one of those games where durant's game was off and westbrook exploded to keep them in it (sans some bad defense)

Nice late 4th quarter and late OT Surge. But I thought the game was pretty ugly.

Durant could not find his stroke at all until when it really mattered.

Westbrook left House open late but one board shy of a triple double I'm not going to reem him.

Gree hit some big shots so did Nick.

Ugly win but I'll take it.

OK Wow. What a game. Maybe it didn’t come through on the broadcast but I thought MSG was pretty bumpin’ like old times. The buzz was palpable.

Looking at the boxscore now it seemed like we shot worse from the field.

Danilo Gallinari played GREAT defense on Kevin Durant. He was flustering KD into taking poor shots all game. Russ was breaking down the Knicks defense at will but Gallo had KD steaming and KD took some wild shots out of rhythm. He righted himself when it mattered but I don’t think I’ve ever seen KD that out of sorts.

I didn’t think any of the Thunder players played good defense except Collison. Knicks were passing the ball great, the value of a David Lee in the front court with Tmac and even House at SG, all great passers. Our defense couldn’t keep up with the ball and without a strong shot blocker the Knicks kept getting layups. Everything was a step slow.

Russ had a great game offensively but he got burned many times on defense especially that House shot off the inbounds I wanted to kill him.

We hit a lot of big shots but I don’t think we should have had to with the FT misses and the defensive breakdowns. Russ has been unbelievable lately on offense, he’s taking it closer and closer to the basket like we hoped.

Lastly, that play Scott Brooks drew up was great. Want to see more of that. Also, I love Thabo more than anything. But there are certain times where I think James Harden should get most of the minutes at this point. He did tonight because Thabo got poked in the eye but he’s such a liability on offense. Two corner threes wide open in this game that Harden would have nails, we lose a lot of points with Thabo.

Bring on the Twolves.

Oh one more thing, Jeff Green either has to be more assertive or we have to run more offense for him. He had a matchup advantage basically all game and we hardly went to him. Big oversight in my opinion.

I think they provide a good mix and an ideal set of options for Brooks to go to. If we were playing a team with a guy like Kobe, then you keep Thabo in because shutting him down is more important than anything Harden can do on offense. In this game, I think having Harden in obviously proved to be the better alternative. With the exception of this game, it doesn't seem like Thabo is getting a little more consistent about knocking down some jump shots.

This seems to be the case pretty often. I would put most of this on Jeff. When you've got a mismatch, you've got to let your teammates know and work to get the ball in a place where you can take advantage of it. Westbrook isn't really a "game manager", so that makes the responsibility fall even more on Jeff.

Jeff doesn't have that killer instinct though, that's just not his mentality to demand the ball. He is fine being a role player, and making a big shot or a big block to end the game but to rely on him for stretches is not in his personality IMO.
