So according to Coro, the Suns are 12th overall in opponents FG%, ahead of teams like DEN, DAL, POR, ATL, and HOU. We are 6th worst rebounding team, only ahead of MIL, NY, IND, and GS.

Seems to prove that, like I've said for ten years now, the Suns aren't so much a bad defensive team, than are piss-poor at closing out stops, giving up second chances, and points.

I'd love for people to stop buying the "Suns dont play D" ****.

A lot of that has to do with the scrambling D that gets guys out of position to get boards. When the Suns had KT they were able to play straight up with him on the court and did better on the boards.

You can't be serious. Suns fans are the worse. As soon as someone struggles, it's either trade him! or take him out! or bench him! or something stupid. Everyone sees Amare doing good and get happy that he never was traded. As soon as he has 2 bad games, I'll see posts saying how Kerr was stupid to keep him. I stay true to the whole team. Go Suns and keep provin the haters wrong!

I think this was more in response to Nash's health, and that Dragic is (as stated and generally agreed) very good at keeping people out of their rhythm. If depriving the opposing starting PG a rhythm for his first 5-10 minutes helps Nash's back and screws up the opposing guard's rhythm, it's fine.

But only if both criteria are true.
