Would have been nice

Post#1 » by Dalakerbox » Mon Feb 22, 2010 6:53 pm

I understand Kobe was getting a lot of "treatment" for his ankle in the games he missed and watched each game from the locker room, but it would have been nice to see him on the bench cheering on his Laker squad boosting their confidence that much more. This would have showed off how much of a good teammate he actually is and would have done a lot for his reputation of still being selfish. Especially in the Boston game. I see other superstars like Wade,CP3 and even B-roy on their teams bench rooting them on. I know it's not a big deal, but maybe this post can give us something other than pipe trade dreams to discuss.

Thoughts?

you are kidding right?

you would rather see him cheerlead than get treatment for his injuries?

Don't get me wrong I def want the man healthy, and I'm not talking like the whole game or all five games, but it would be nice to have seen him sheering on his team, that's all I'm saying dude

alright my bad guys, maybe this should have been another pointless trade thread or something talking about why Buss didn't open up his wallet and sign Kirk. Didn't mean to sound like we were in High school here, I just thought this was where Lakers fans got together to talk about the team. Sorry I must be in the wrong place. Also I was not making a huge deal over it I just thought it would be nice to see him out there

Dont worry about it.

I see your point but you have to realize who your talking about.

For Kobe not to play its basically eating him up bad since he isnt able to compete and we know how competetive he is. Now he is injured so the best thing he needs to do is take care of his injuries and then comeback strong. Keeping him away from the game is only feeding his hunger to come back and dominate the game. Knowing Kobe he probably watches the game as well as tapes from the games. SO I think were okay for now.

wow...looks like the trade deadline still has you guys wound up tight.

i see nothing wrong with this thread and actually share the OP's sentiments. its been on mind my each game, too. i would like to see kobe out there supporting his team from the bench...thats all I'll say about my views on it, b/c IMO the last thing we need is more negativity or a bashing b/w laker fans.

and i'm in high school, too.
