Canadians looked like they had already won. Not tonight! USA! USA! USA!
First the federal government borrowed money; then gave the money to Bank of America; then I borrowed some of that money from Bank of America and gave it to the federal government; then the federal government gave the money back to Bank of America.

I got to give the States credit Ralph played amazing and showed why he deserved a spot on your team. He and Miller were easily players of the game. I can't wait for Canada's next game to show the world how pissed off they are going to be after this loss.

Babcock needs to go from Team Canada and we should have brought in Dion and at least one of Jay Boumeester (sp)

I thought from the start they should have gone with Mike Green instead of Pronger.

See and the list goes on and on. Canada had better options there why take on Scottie Neidmeyer (sp) because he's a veteran with exp? I would have taken Green, Dion or Jay over Pronger or Drew Doughty as for D-Men.

Now if were talking fowards Eric Staal should be left off for Vincent Lecavalier or Steven Stamkos.

That was a amazing hit and it was definitely the turning point of that game. The Czechs really didn't recover after that Malkin goal.

Hats off to team USA. They played great and really jumped all over our lack luster team. Since the start of this tourney I just haven't been a fan of our team.

I thought that Doughty had been looking pretty good. Delivered some nice hits, got the puck moving out of defense well. Green 100% should be there over Pronger though. He's just not quick enough.

Agreed on Staal too. Nice player, but Stamkos as a sniper would have had a much greater impact.

It was stunning. Before I knew it I was standing on my feet in the lounge room with the bowl of chips that was on my knee on the ground in front of me.

It was that sort of a hit.

Thank God for hardwood floors.

The USA looked great. The moved the puck so well which created space and, obviously, Miller was out of this world.

The Canadians need to space the ice out a little. They are too crowded. Everyone always seems to be on top of each other or getting in the way of each other.

They try to score from in close too much too. Finnesse the puck close to the crease and made something happen. Need to crank a few slappers from the point and get the opposing goalie on his back wheels a little more IMO.

Let Shea Webber loose.

Canada avoids a national catastrophe and beats on Germany. Now that Russian game next is a different story...

Canada will beat Russia they're just starting to mesh now and find there rhythm. I wouldn't be shocked to see a upset today we almost say a Latvian team beat the Czech Republic if Volkun let that goal off his pads I could see a mass suicide watch.

All I can say about Shea Webber's shot is :o that was a cannon I wouldn't want to get hit with that I would  for like hours

They finally did and look what happened!!

It was stupid hard. The fact that the net hardly even moved? Wow. The thing was moving like a bullet.

The camera angle from behind Webber is the best. I was watching in high def and it's like the puck was suspended in the air he hit it that clean. There was no wobble as it flew through the air at all.

Add on the fact that he cracked the glass in the 1st period with another slap shot and I think I would  for for like weeks if I took the full brunt of one of his shots!!

USA's power play is horrendous.

0-0 heading to the 3rd. USA completely dominating this game though.

2-0 doesn't tell the story. USA completely dominated that game.
