The draft is the only chance for improvement for this team as I really don't think the Clippers can sign any type of impact free agent so we will see this below .500 team again next year. Great going! Let's get these 30 wins this year and return next year for 30 more...ugh!

It's being realistic. The Clippers are going nowhere this year. I would have loved this win months ago before the long losing streaks and embarrassing loses to the Nets and T'Wolves. Hopefully I'm wrong but I just don't know about this team, this year.

But I personally don't like tanking, I want to at least be competitive till the season ends. Also, anything can happen!

Outlaw will eventually start over Jordan I imagine.

Most Blazer fans want Outlaw and Blake to well for you guys for you'll find they are
solid players and guys and don't deserve to be sent to a team that is tanking. It
might help if the Clippers starting playing real well so that they can sell Lebron
on joining a solid team that is one piece away.

98-94 win. Back to back victories for the Clippers. I was surprised by the run that the Clippers had in the last few minutes. I'm happy for a win. I can't root for the team to lose. Last season, I wasn't upset that we lost down the stretch, because I knew it meant more balls/combinations for the lottery. I didn't like losing or want it, but I understood it's benefit.

This season, I just want to see us win. I've watched us lose for the last 3 seasons. We as Clipper fans are always saying next year things will be better. We've said that for the last 3 years and then the next year came. New year, same....

I want to see these guys learn how to win. That could be having a lead and holding onto it, or even coming from behind and stealing a win. Losing cannot have a positive effect on the psyche of these young players.

There are some players in this draft that I do like a whole lot and think would do wonders for this team, but it's not a guarantee that we get them by losing games. If it was a guarantee that we could land Wall or Evans, then I'd probably have a different tune. The problem is that we could suck, but if the teams below us continue to out suck us, then it's just going to be more disgust and heartache for Clipper Nation.

I will stop being a fan if we tank it this year!!!!! The point of the game is to win games not win a freaking lottery. We got the #1 pick last year and the best player in college, but what did that get us? Nothing is guaranteed. Play for today with what you have and hope whoever we draft/sign in the offseason will make the team better.

With that said, I hope the team builds chemistry with this current roster. I think we should resign Outlaw, Blake, Butler, Smith, and maybe Gooden, if he comes back cheap. No superstar will come to us if the entire roster is a question mark. Having a good young foundation (Gordon/Griffin) and veterans (Baron/Kaman) along with nice pieces like Rasual, Blake, Outlaw, Jordan, and a draft pick will be appealing to Free Agents and more importantly, a good coach. Coaching in the NBA is underrated. Look at Houston and Portland (teams hit hard by injuries) that are still in the playoff picture because they have good coaches who can make adjustments and win games they shouldn't.

Anyways, from now till the end of the season, I just want the team to be competitive. If we can go .500 the rest of the way, I would be ecstatic!

I think you and I are on the same page as far as what our offseason moves should consist of.

As a fan, it's hard to love the game and the team, but know that the season is over not long after it started. Our season was still alive January 19th. I just think that the players that are going to be here next season need to finish the season on a good note, so that there is something to look forward to as they prepare for next season. It's easier to see yourself winning 40+ games and being a playoff team if you won 30+ games the previous year and are bringing in some new talented players that are going to improve the roster, than it is if you win 20 something the previous year. This team played without Blake, and lost many games they should have won. If they can finish respectably, then the sky is the limit next season, because they know they are capable of winning.

I didn't watch this game but kept up with the boxscore. I saw that we were up early and thought that we could hold our lead. I do give our team credit that they came back in the fourth to win it, we usually just blow it. I'm also glad that some of those pieces we traded for were able to play. I think these trades make us a deeper team, but I still miss Camby though. It will be better once Blake Griffin comes back.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

Baron looked very unmotivated if you ask me. I think Blake should get more time at PG and we could play Baron at 2 when Gordon is resting. Blake needs a good contract therefor he's gonna try to win the games for us.

I hope we can keep Butler in the team next season.

Blake's assist numbers, as well as his A/TO ratio have been great in the minutes he's been given. Big improvement over Telfair. Even Gooden looked like he had a good game too, aside from the 5 turnovers. I still want to see Outlaw in more games before I make a comment on him. Depending on who stays, next your should be pretty interesting.

Outlaw said he was getting a little winded, and understandably so. But I'm sure he'll have his legs back fully within the next couple of games.

Blake has been extremely impressive, garnering 28 asts against ONLY 6 TO's. Unbelievably solid.
