I say go the BPA route, and draft Wall atleast see how it works out with Tyreke. Tyreke has done a good job at the point for us, but I still see him as more of a 2.

Re: #1 Overall Pick
Havoc, I didn't say anything about being the Next Duncan, and quit being so bitter about the rookie sophmore game, player's do stuff like that all the time in the NBA it doesn't mean he dislikes or doesn't respect Evans it just meant that he thought his friend Blair maybe should have won it or maybe Westbrook.
And yes Brook lopez is already better than Boozer because boozer only plays on one side of the ball. And yes the nets have been bad and may end up being historically bad but you don't lay the blame for that on a 2nd year player. How about we lay the blame on a very young team that has been poorly coached and managed. That team came out and got discouraged early and has yet to recover.
You just have to recognize how depleted the center position is right now and how valuable it would be to have a guy like Lopez. The nba is currently filled with Centers that barely scrape 6'11 and only play on one side of the court. Guys like Okafor, and Haywood tend to only play defense and get most of their points from offensive rebounds and yes that is great to have for a team but I'd rather a player that puts effort into both offense and defense.
The 3 guys that Havoc mentioned are all considered PF's there just aren't that many star centers right now.

Re: #1 Overall Pick
i really like trading for Lopez although i dont see the nets letting lopez go for basically an exchange in picks and a hawes/lopez swap. we probably will have to give another young player

Would you guys trade our lotto pick for Stephen Curry? He might be the ideal fit next to Evans.

As an outsider, I can't help but notice the plethora of young quality talent your collecting. Evans, Casspi, Thompson, Landry, Greene, and Hawes are great building blocks for your future, not to mention the ~4th overall pick and cap space this summer. Definitely a team I'm keeping my eye on.

I really don't care about fit. The talent between wall and tyreke would be UNBELIEVABLE. They would find a way to work things out, and I would die to see those two play next to each other.

FIT = EVERYTHING.
If you need more evidence go look at the Pistons vs. Lakers Finals series a few years back. Lakers had WAY more talent, Pistons FIT MUCH better.

Yup. Wall and Reke wouldn't fit well together because neither is a good outside shooter. Reke needs the ball to play well, Wall needs the ball to play well, both guys are going to be guys who get 15-20 shots per game. If Reke were a young Ray Allen who can move real well without the ball and spread the floor for Wall then sure but he's not. I'd rather take a center like Aldrich to put next to Landry.

We are still a terrible team and with that being said, I believe we have to go BPA. There isn't one player on our team that will stop me from drafting best player no matter which pick we are at. Wall may not be the best 3pt shooter but hes no slouch either shooting 35%. I would take a chance and see how he and evans could play together. This draft is going to be huuge for us, I cant wait for the lottery to see where we are at. After last year I would laugh my ass off if we somehow won the 1st or 2nd pick!!

I mean you could almost say the same for the thunder but it wasn't as bad a choice as the grizzlies. I think evans makes either team better tho.

J.WALL would be our pick if we gott he 1st round pick without a doubt !
True we need a CENTER but J.WALL is the only player i believe the KINGS would take that is not a center with their 1st round pick.
I say if we got the 2nd or 3rd pick we would trade down to the 4th - 6th pick & package the 2nd or 3rd with one of our longer contracts for the 4th - 6th pick & still get the center we want if WALL is off the board !

Yes but that team would top out at about 45 wins considering Bosh isn't a legit center, he's a PF, and Wall and Evans both can't shoot.

whatever improves this team, looking at it, i'll take 45 wins instead of 25, thats if the king's can get there by the seasons end.
