I'd much rather have House over Hughes.

I'm iffy on Hughes. He's been whiner on almost every team he's been on. If you don't get the minutes then you work harder to earn them, the guy thinks he deserved minutes.

His defense will be an undeniable upgrade over whoever is our best backcourt defender though.

On another note. not to say I told you so, but I was the one who suggested the suns trade for Iggy, butler and blatche back when everyone thought amare was gone for sure. People said Speights is better, I know blatche is better.

I believe you now know Amare is way better, right?

I'd give Hughes a chance, he is in contract year. I hope KT gets bought out and would return to us. If only 12 are allowed on playoff roster, we would add on Hughes and KT and let out Griffin, LB (if injured), Clark.

Larry Huges is a god awful chucker but his defense and ball handling are nice.

He'd be okay here if he didn't chuck up alot of shots and he fit in his role of distributing playing defense doing the little things right taking the right shots at the right time. If we got him at the minimum and he didn't disrupt chemistry I'd be for it cut him if he makes any problems.

We won't get him though so moot point plus he's got a bad attitude and personality like people have said. I mean hasn't he shot below 40 percent multiple seasons from the field? that's horrible. His negatives are like J rich times 10.

this.

he's awful but if he were glued to the bench for use only in an emergency that would be great.

you gotta remember LH once led the league in steals. Dump Griffin and sign Hughes to a $1 million contract.

Sure Hughes would be one of our best defenders and a good streak shooter but does that really matter for someone who will only see 10 minutes per game (probably less if everyone else is healthy)? You'll get a few stops out of him and some shots but I'm telling you, getting him would be a terrible idea unless we have 20+mpg to give him. He has always had an issue with not getting enough minutes/the ball enough and we would only be getting him as insurance. So yes, I think Griffin is better than him on our bench because Griffin is good in the locker room and knows that he sucks too much to play. We simply don't need Hughes.

he sucks to much to play? yet he's better than a guy that can contribute even if it's 10 minutes a game? very contradicting.

It's all about chemistry. Hughes comes off the court swearing after being pulled with only 8 minutes in the game. Griffin cheers on his teammates.

Like I said in the last sentence, where you ended your bolding conveniently, We don't need Hughes. Which is why you don't sign a guy who you're going to put 4 guards ahead of, if he is going to come in wanting a 6th or 7th man role. Griffin is a practice player, which is all we need at the end of our bench. So while at first glance it appeared I contradicted myself, it is because I'm saying that Hughes is too good for our current rotation.

it kinda feels good to be talking about free agents to sign for a playoff run. I know we're not favorites again like we used to be but it's good to be talking about those guys

we dont need anymore guards especially if barbs comes back healthy. we need a player like gooden who can play some defense and rebound whil not causing any problems
