Anyone noticed that Pau used to be money from 15ft and now he hardly even shoots it? Seems like we'd kill people with Drew down low and Pau looking to shoot more faceups.

It's easier for him to take pipe playing with his back to the basket. Phil and him have a mutual agreement he can take an allotted amount per game.

Sorry lol. Catch on with the thread

Exactly Darko make Bynum the primary post up player and let Pau play facing up and beating people off the dribble he is pretty quick for his size but it's obvious he doesnt want to bang down low so let Drew handle that

It goes deeper than that as well. Tonight he had his man pinned all the way under the basket & Shannon just looked at him & threw the ball to the other side. Drew said something to him but I couldn't make it out. The other teammates saw it & gave him the ball back (think it was Artest) but he didn't have the same position & he picked up his 5th foul with that hooking call. So sometimes it comes back like that as well. I would like to see him give it up a little more & see the team repost with him & Pau more.

Yeah he was in foul trouble but it's weird that they would rather make Pau the primary post player and not Bynum, since that is Bynum's game and Pau is more comfortable facing up or beating other bigs off triple threat

No lift in his legs D.Darko, and that's a key shot he has to hit in the pinch post of the tri. But this year it's all bricks.

Wonder why? Oh probably because he did NOTHING most of the summer besides play with his fellow girlfriends from gradeschool for Spain.

If he doesn't get his legs truly under him before April, I'm voting to call Immigration and not allow him back to Spain

I appreciate the respect Nas, but seriously, i don't even think I'm being harsh on the guy. Imagine a talent like Pau with the heart of a Carl Landry. Even a Leon Powe. A Paul Millsap.

Fact is this: I'd be happier with Pau if he had a 8-10 line playing great D and playing hard as hell than his overrated 22-13 line thanks to the great players around him.

I'd say shelve him for a couple of games. It might work out well.

Point made. Period. Amen to that. That's why even when Kobe is past his prime, he will still be miles ahead of Gasol in importance to team. He may have off games here n there. The reason we forgive him is that we know for a FACT we are getting his full effort night in and night out. Pau....not so much

we have a pretty nice problem to be bitching about Pau instead of Brian Cook, Kwame Brown, Devean George, or some other punk ass. And also, while I don't understand why he isn't shooting like he did last year(beyond Spain and hammy issues as Deep said) and I don't understand why he keeps playing volleyball instead of just coralling the ball, I will say he set the screen for Kobe to win it and he also got out there on D to bother Mayo who likely puts it down without the big guy's run out.

Comedy Central worthy joke

Yah bro I could of sworn I heard it on Comedy Central after the game last night. Goerge Lopez is going to do a joke on it too.
