Have to disagree. Yes, he came up short at the FT line and on the final shot, but without OJ, the Grizz wouldn't have had the opportunity to win. OJ was only part of it, can't lay it solely at his feet though. Hollins played his part, as did the half arsed job of defficiating in the last minute or so. Meh.

We´re choking badly when the game is in the line. Before tonight it had been Conley who had choked, but we managed to run with the win. Dunno if we can blame our youth for that.

That is a tough loss to get over. Kobe is good at what he does unfortunately in this case. The Grizz loss this game on crucial mistakes like missed key FTs' and not playing the defensive matchups tighter in the last minute of the game. To me those made the difference in the game. Just a bad case of missed opportunities at the wrong time.

Yeah this should have been a 10 point victory with the way things went up til the last couple minutes. Honestly I was thinking of turning it off to get to bed early. The Lakers looked awful - they were throwing away passes into the stands. They were losing every rebound. They were allowing Grizzlies second chances and open shots. They could not execute inside or shoot outside. But somehow they come back. Technical fouls, jump balls and missed free throws. Ugh :x

I feel for you guys, still fresh in my mind how much we got screwed over when the Lakers played at the Bucks earlier this season. I hope you guys can hold on and win this one. That was a terrible call by the refs.

That's a regular season game from 2 months ago. Get over it, homes. I'm laughing at how fair it is that you're sub 500 and currently riding the 8th seed. The Grizzlies don't have the same luxury.

Now we simply have to win those wizards to get our momentum back.

Agreed.

We were in the game last night because of the Lakers horrible play (Ron Artest was atrocious for 3 quarters and Phil playing Jordan Farmar so much was a blessing) and because O.J. had a great game.

I'm not upset about last night's loss even though it was theres for the taking.

I'm more upset about the loss to the Heat on Friday. Hollins' inability to recognize that Randolph on Beasley was a complete mismatch is why we lost that game. Darrell Arthur would have been a better cover on a perimeter player like Beasley. Or even Rudy Gay.

We got some bad Tech's (Hollins) last night too. As far as O.J. and the final shot, I believe it was M.J. that said you miss a 100% of the shots u don't take. He got a decent look. Just didn't go in. And the missed free throws were huge.

Fact of the matter is, we are going to lose the majority of games like last night's because we don't have a guy that can create his own shot or get to the bucket.

Unless O.J. gets there, we won't. Because we know Rudy Gay won't ever develop that.

this memphis team is scary good. serious. they have a bright future with the youth and athletes you have. just dont do a mark cuban and start sellin off parts just for the sake of sellin off parts. the key to long term victory is chemistry and development. be patient with this team and let them develop the solid trust within one another, and they will be serious contenders in the future.
