I disagree, he plays out of control a lot, but skinny? Not really.

He's not filled out yet, but his lower body is ahead of his upper body. His build isn't undersized for a young NBA big.

He doesn't block out, doesn't defend the paint, gets stripped by guards. To me, that's playing skinny.

He doesn't play skinny, but he certainly doesn't play strong. Spencer for all the knocks he gets is even stronger than him.

But to be honest Thompson had 8 rebounds and 4 blocks in 3 quarters last night. It is always funny to me when people won't give any respect to skinny guys. Durant is about the best young big man around and weighs less than 200 lbs. Nowitzki, Gasol, Duncan, DLee, and BLopez are all great skinny big men. None are bigger than Thompson.

Eh, not really. I mean they are both rebounding role players but what Brockman does out there is just plain unusual. He literally rebounds everybody else's shots for them. He is one of the best extra possession guys I've ever seen. Brockman also understands the game a lot better than Dorsey.

Dorsey is bigger and is more of a type that goes after shots. Just like last night, he uses his length to aggressively help on defense. They'd actually make an awesome frontcourt tandem for a team stacked at the 1, 2, and 3 spots. Maybe that's us after this summer? Either way, they are both valuable to this team, probably even moreso than some "big minute" guys.

He will also be a player off the court, and supposedly has an affection for "Gentleman's Clubs".
