The Pacers are obviously disappointed they had to let Jason Smith go, but the financial flexibility that this deal creates was just too good to pass up. The Pacers were in need of a third point guard and a shooting guard who could play spot minutes off the bench, while also picking up what we project to be an early second round pick in next year's draft.

We are continuing with the youth movement with a lineup of Felton/Rush/Howard/Smith/Perkin, and are hoping with the loads of capspace we have that we can attract a couple of really good free agents.

To get to the minimum player total we will sign 2 future all stars- Cenk Akyol, and none other the one and only Sergey Gladyr. How can i go wrong with a guy who's last name is Glad yr
