Magic accept the deal with NJ. We're sad to lose Manu but with FA approaching we didn't want to risk losing him for nothing.

The Indiana Pacers and Oklahoma City Thunder have a deal to announce.

The Pacers waive C Sean May before the deal.

The Indiana Pacers Get:
PG Antonio Daniels $825,497
SG Rashad McCants $825,497
2011 2nd Round Pick (via Minneosta)
Cash (1 million)

Oklahoma City Thunder Get:
PF Jason Smith $1,418,880

The Pacers are obviously disappointed they had to let Jason Smith go, but the financial flexibility that this deal creates was just too good to pass up. The Pacers were in need of a third point guard and a shooting guard who could play spot minutes off the bench, while also picking up what we project to be an early second round pick in next year's draft.

OKC accepts i like what Smith can bring this team. Also hope he continues to develop his game so he can come off the bench and provide some help.

PHI and OKL have reached a deal.

Jameer Nelson - $8,100,000
Joe Alexander - $2,583,360

for

Speedy Claxton - 5,209,454
Mike Conley - $3,883,800
Wayne Ellington - 1,078,800
2011 2nd

We get a former allstar to run the point, Nelson is only 27 and his shooting will fit nicely with the team...and our FA targets.

OKC accepts i hate giving up Nelson, but getting rid of his contract, and getting back some young pieces is all good for me.

Rafer Alston $5,250,000
Tony Battie $6,606,500

We hate giving up a prospect like twill but we like what manu brings to the table and this gives us more cap room.

Miami and N.O. have a deal to announce

Miami will send
R. Gay $3,280,997
E.Thomas $7,906,088 totals: $11,187,085
Miami 2011 1st

To N.O. for

D.West $9,075,000 x 1.25 + 100,000 = 11,443,750 > $11,187,085

We are so sad to see Rudy go, he is one of my favorite players (plus was on my game winning rebuilding TWolves team 2 games ago), but we added a guy that we hoonestly have been begging for since day 1 of the game in D.West. We simply do this because we thing PF > SF in this game. Plus adding a ligit post guy should make D.Wade and Haywood very happy!

Plus we save so $ this season (ownership likes)

The nets and spurs have come to an agreement.
The nets trade:
Manu Ginobili - 10,728,130
I have an open roster spot so i do not need to cut any one.

The spurs trade:
Jerome James $6,600,000
Brian Cook $3,500,000
Rites to Tiago Splitter
Total 10,100,000 X 1.25 = 12,625,000

The nets accept. We feel we probably could have gotten a lil more for manu but we like splitters game and manu doesnt fit where this team is going.

Spurs gladly accept. Manu comes back to the Spurs to play alongside Duncan. Manu brings in the energy needed off the bench. He is a clutch performer and has won 3 championships with the Spurs. What more could we ask for from this trade.

Minnesota and Charlotte have agreed to a deal:

Chuck Hayes $2,147,750
2010 Minnesota 2nd Round Pick
for
James Johnson $1,594,080
Marcus Landry $457,588

Salaries obviously work.

Charlotte accepts. I like James Johnson a lot and think he's got a lot of potential, but we won't see him fill out his potential in the timeframe of this game, so for now he's an unproven project. Hayes gives me another elite defender to throw out there and I desperately needed a backup big.

Minnesota accepts. Hayes is a great young guy, but didn't fit this rotation well. We get a couple of useful players who can fikk out the team a little better.

The Orlando Magic cut Kenny Thomas

The magic and 76ers have agreed to the following:

Magic send

C.J Miles - 3,700,000

76ers send

Joe Alexander 2,583,360
Jason Collins - 825,497

Total: 3,408,857 x 1.25 = 4261071.25> 3,700,000

Deal Works!

We're sad to lose Miles, but at the same time we are intrigued by Alexander. Magic accept

The Washington Wizards and Phoenix Suns announce a trade.

WAS out:
PG Eric Maynor.............$1,318,920(max incoming $1,748,650)
for
PHO out:
C Hamed Haddadi.....1,627,779
2010 CHA 2nd
2012 IND 1st

We hate to give up Maynor, but needed to balance our roster. Haddadi gives us a young solid Center to back-up McGee. The picks are a chance to acquire more young talent.

Minnesota and Utah have agreed to a trade.

Minnesota sends:

Ryan Gomes- $3,867,500
Chris Wilcox- $3,000,000
2010 HOU 2nd Round Pick

Total: $6,867,500

Utah sends:

Ronnie Brewer- $2,717,161
Kosta Koufos- $1,214,040
Jannero Pargo- $1,990,000

Total: $5,921,201

Math works: $5,921,201 x 1.25 + $100,000 = $7,510,510 > $6,867,500

Minnesota accepts. We cut a bit of future salary and next some nice bench production here.

OK guys here is the most interesting trade to date, follow closely

Miami and Atlanta have agreed to a trade

Miami will trade
J.Howard $10,890,000
Blount $ 7,967,375 TOTALS: $18,857,375

to ATl for
S.jackson $ 7,650,000
J.Foster $ 6,077,500
O.Hunter $ 736,420
S.Stoudimire $ 825,497 TOTALS: $15,289,417 x 1.25 + 100,000 = $19,211,771 > $18,857,375
the rite to swap N.O. 2010 1st with ATL 2010 1st (the ATL pick is protected 1,2,3,5,7,8
* If the ATL pick is protected or less desirable then the N.O. pick, Miami would get Bost 2010 2nd and ATL 2013 unprotected 1st

Miami is trying to win now. Adding Jackson to our lineup would be a great fit. We are forced to take the salary of J.Foster which we did not want to do and now killed my FA hopes. The well goofy protected pick swap sealed the deal. At best we trade our N.O. 1st for a better pick, worst case we get a late 2010 2nd and way future 1st

Welcome aboard Capt Jack, South Beach is waiting!

Atlanta accepts, we hate losing Sjax but were more then willing to ship him if Foster went with him. Pick Swap can work out really good or realy bad, just have to wait and see how the Balls role. We are continuing with the youth movement with a lineup of Felton/Rush/Howard/Smith/Perkin, and are hoping with the loads of capspace we have that we can attract a couple of really good free agents.

To get to the minimum player total we will sign 2 future all stars- Cenk Akyol, and none other the one and only Sergey Gladyr. How can i go wrong with a guy who's last name is Glad yr

Jazz are happy to get some size and a player who will really work well in the system in Gomes. Wilcox will be a solid contributor from time to time as well.
