As you guys have been seeing on the news blogs, these 3 are indefinitely suspended. Cops are apparently not involved though.

Bernman, maybe you have some insight, I'm reading on the other boards and all of these guys are as good as gone from what they apparently did.

I've heard the accusations. I was just hoping to get more insight. Some of the details don't match up.

The rumored accusations are that these three beat up someone, potentially a drug dealer, for cash and/or weed totaling 'thousands' of dollars. The athletic department somehow found out about it, the players were suspended indefinitely, and the department is conducting their own internal investigation on the matter - that part not being a rumor, as they ARE suspended and an investigation is being done. Police are saying that they have no idea what is going on and have had nothing reported to them (a guy with drugs didn't file a police report, imagine that). Rumors are that the chances of any of the three coming back are [insert cliche about a very small chance here].

This all went down likely 5 to 7 days ago. Nothing new has really come about since Sunday when Bielema officially addressed the matter. It's all just been rehashed. I was going to post when something definitive came about, but it seems like many are in the dark.

The school they're rumored to be transferring to is Illinois State, following Erik Smith and Leonard Hubbard (though for different reasons). Also rumored that, as of when this all came out, they were going to be allowed to finish the semester as students if they wished.

I'll stress again that these are rumors and accusations, but you can draw your own conclusions.

I really wanted to see if a potentially Toon/Appleton duo at WR next year could be very dangerous. :evil:
