This kind of explains the Wang signing a little better. Shame--Detwiller looked great to close the year last season.

Also the team reached an agreement with Ron Villone on a minor league contract. Villone was okay last year and will certainly be an option as that second lefty reliever behind Clippard.

They really seem determined to really not rush the young guys--even the ones with measurable big league experience--this year.
