I didn't see that coming. Is it because he will probably cost too much to resign?

Absolutely.

There are two classes of football teams this coming year:

1) Spenders in the cap free world

2) Non spenders unloading any and all questionable contracts due the impending labor impasse down the road.
Basketball is driven by three principles:

1) Movement 2) Application of fundamentals 3) Predictability

Ya that is what I thought. I am just hoping that someone will by the Bucaneers so that they will be able to actually have a chance to contend for the championship.

You'll be seeing more teams dump payroll this year, especially as it pertains to bonus commitments and large long term contracts.

Rumors are the first 4 drafting teams are all looking to move down in the draft.....and there has been little interest from other teams because one, there are no real franchise players, and two, nobody wants to pay the big bonus money "this" year due to an impending work stoppage.
