You betcha!! In fact, sport and reality shows are pretty much the only two things I'll watch on TV.

That and the Family Guy.

Just Survivor and TAR. Survivor brings something new every season, it is still great. TAR is not so special but last season I head to watch, because they finally made to Prague for the first time (not counting TAR Asia, 2nd season) and stayed here two whole episodes. Especially the night kafkaesque episode was nice.

Tv? Not so much, I dont even have any. Everything is on internet, even without P 2 P approach. Pretty much as Slam, sports, (only some) reality shows and some comedy sometimes - with difference i prefer stand ups and britcoms over things like Family Guy (gave it a try, didnt work for me).

Nowaday I watch winter olympics a lot, if Im not mistaken you are a German, Fred, I feel for your baithlon crazy country, those olympic races couldnt be more f*** up. I think that Vancouver 2010 is preatty bad infotunatelly, still it doesn't stop me from rooting for our competitors. One gold and one bronze so far, may be another medal within six hours, hopefully :)

To be honest, I don't care about the winter olympics and winter sports at all. I just hate everything that is associated with snow and coldness. :D I'm more into Basketball, soccer, and boxing.

And yes, I have a german citizenship but a mixed cultural background and I currently reside in the Netherlands. But I'm probably looking forward to move to another country if I have finished college.

Any contenders? Still in Europe or further away?

I just wanted to put in a plug for the show Archer, on FX. It's a cartoon, made by the creators of Sealab 2021, that's really excellent. First couple episodes are on hulu.

I watch a few reality shows. I use to watch Survivor, now it's just Real World, the challenges that accompany it, and then Jersey Shore. It took a while for me to get around to watching Jersey Shore, but once I did I thought it was funny as hell. And then Hard Knocks and 24/7 on HBO are the ****.

jersey shore was lightning in a bottle. it was perfect. they will probably spend years trying to duplicate the magic of the first season of that show and they will probably fail miserably.

Is there going to be an entirely new cast for the second season? I'm not expecting to enjoy upcoming seasons as much as this first one, but I don't think it'll be all that bad. I could see Jersey Shore becoming a poor man's Real World for a long time.

no i think its going to be the same cast because they were talking about how some of the cast was holding out for more money....i think they made 5000 bucks a show or something like that and now they wanted like 15 or 20gs

So it's Friday night and I'm probably going to stay home in order to watch a couple of professional basketball teams that even most basketball fans don't know exist. (D-League/Bobcats)

How much of a loser am I?

Pshh, I've got you all beat. I'm going over to a friends house to play a board game.....a BattleStar Galactica board game. In my defense though it kicks the **** out of monopoly and it's not a sausage fest in some dudes basement either so I'm fine with the geekiness of it. Especially since it's still a step above a reality tv lover.

chabber, is the game new or is it some random BSG board game from 1979?

i need to get back on BSG... i took a break from season 1 to finish fringe season 1. now i have a mad men disk to finish before i get disc 4 of season 1 of BSG. 4 more seasons to go after that.

does anyone watch the BSG spin-off caprica?

The game is based off of the first season in the new series. Up to 6 people can play and it's similar to the show in that you don't know who the cylons are in your group so it adds a fun twist to the game. Maybe a little similar to the game Clue but much more in depth.

I've got to get on Mad Men as well. I have the first two seasons and haven't started them up. Same thing with Caprica. I'm recording them on my dvr but just haven't had the time to check it out yet.

edit: I hope you've enjoyed what you have seen of BSG since it was basically a recommendation from walt and I.
