The Forgotten draft pick: Darko Milicic. A Draft Bust?

Post#1 » by drdrey22 » Tue Feb 23, 2010 9:15 pm

You guys might of forgotten who was the second overall pick in 2003 because of Bron, Melo, and D-wade's overshadowing. He won a championship in his rookie season and almost in his sophomore season with the pistons. He may had an unstable career so far, from going through so many teams, without finding one that fits him, but I think he can still redeem is career. If given the chance. What about you?

Your thread to post count ratio is a little ridiculous. 18 posts, and 6 threads created. Wack.

Many people in here burning their brain on what if we would have done this or that...

How about we concentrate more on the future? Are we bored or what?

Also, literally nobody here forgot who was drafted #2 that year. Most of us have been Nuggets/general basketball fans longer than the length of Chauncey's tenure in Denver.

no, i read either on here or on denverstiffs that Wade was our next option had Melo been drafted by Detroit.

I actually wanted the Nuggets to take Mr. Wade in that draft, but I am happy with how things turned out.

I wanted LeBron like every team in the lottery that year but the ping pong balls bounced in Cleveland's favor. I remember ESPN had this lottery simulation where it had all the teams in the lottery and LeBron to the side. Whoever won the simulation it would show LeBron with that team's jersey on. Thought that was pretty cool at the time. I remember messing with that for quite a bit.

I'm happy with how things worked out though.

...and I still believe to this very day that if Darko was available, Kiki would have drafted this guy.
