*******BREAKING NEWS*******
Image
(just picture him in a rockets jersey....dont have time to photo shop it lol)

Carlos Boozer will remain with the HOUSTON ROCKETS for most likely the rest of his career.

GM Bness888 Had this to say "We wanted Boozer here for the rest of his career. He is a true post pressence and our go to guy."

Heres how the deal breaks down:

09/10: $12,323,900
10/11: $16,200,000
11/12: $17,494,009
12/13: $18,788,018
13/14: $20,082,027

Following the press conference Boozer responded with this "I love the city of Houston, but most off all I LOVE MONEY!" "ALso, in 2011 we love the flexability we have in Free Agency"

I would like to congratulate you and congratulate myself. Ever since I traded him he has shown Hall of Fame level play. I think my participation in this contest has had some effect on this streak.

2012 IND 1st

We hate to give up Maynor, but needed to balance our roster. Haddadi gives us a young solid Center to back-up McGee. The picks are a chance to acquire more young talent.

Phoenix Accepts.

We do this deal to add another young point guard to play behind Lawson, one who is not a prolific scorer but has already shown fundamental point guard skills, averaging just under 3 assists in 14 mins play. Haddadi is a nice young Center and has worked his way back into the Grizzlies rotation, but won't get minutes behind Bynum and Joel here, so we wish him all the best. I don't have enough roster spots for the picks so they're surplus...
There is no consolation prize. Winning is everything.

To N.O. for

D.West $9,075,000 x 1.25 + 100,000 = 11,443,750 > $11,187,085

We are so sad to see Rudy go, he is one of my favorite players (plus was on my game winning rebuilding TWolves team 2 games ago), but we added a guy that we hoonestly have been begging for since day 1 of the game in D.West. We simply do this because we thing PF > SF in this game. Plus adding a ligit post guy should make D.Wade and Haywood very happy!

Plus we save so $ this season (ownership likes)

NO Accepts

Rudy Gay is a great wing, we get back a pick, and i'm already loaded at the bigs

Manu Ginobili - 10,728,130
I have an open roster spot so i do not need to cut any one.

The spurs trade:
Jerome James $6,600,000
Brian Cook $3,500,000
Rites to Tiago Splitter
Total 10,100,000 X 1.25 = 12,625,000

The nets accept. We feel we probably could have gotten a lil more for manu but we like splitters game and manu doesnt fit where this team is going.

Spurs gladly accept. Manu comes back to the Spurs to play alongside Duncan. Manu brings in the energy needed off the bench. He is a clutch performer and has won 3 championships with the Spurs. What more could we ask for from this trade.

Salaries obviously work.

Charlotte accepts. I like James Johnson a lot and think he's got a lot of potential, but we won't see him fill out his potential in the timeframe of this game, so for now he's an unproven project. Hayes gives me another elite defender to throw out there and I desperately needed a backup big.

figure out what you are doing with the minny pick for sure, its top 55 protected to phily.

to the Oklahoma City Thunder for

Jeff Green - 3,516,960
Brendan Haywood - 6,000,000
Etan Thomas - 7,906,088
2010 PHX 1st
2010 MIN 2nd returned
2011 OKC 1st

While the Timberwolves hate to trade a guy like Jefferson, we like what we are getting in return. Not only do we save some longterm salary, but we also pick up a solid young wing prospect, a defensive anchor, and 2 first round picks, as well as getting our 2nd returned to us. We feel like the players we have will fit well into our system, and help to balance out our roster.

OKC accepts putting Jefferson next to Durant should help him a lot, easing the scoring on him. I hate giving up Green, Haywood and all of those picks but i really wanted to get Jefferson on this team.

Trade Approved Update your rosters

Bumping this in regards to MIN 2010 2nd. No protection (as far as I can see) as the pick was returned. In regards to the protection on Philly's part:

2010 second round draft pick to Philadelphia
Minnesota's own 2010 2nd round pick to Philadelphia (top 55 protected in the 2010 Draft). If Minnesota's own 2010 2nd round pick is in the top 55 picks, then Minnesota's obligations to Philadelphia shall be extinguished. [Minnesota - Philadelphia, 7/9/2008]

I'm pretty sure bryant08 isn't too concerned with his chances.

The problem was that he traded the pick that was already traded to someone else.

If the pick is #56 it goes to Philly/ whoever has the rights and if its #55 or above it goes to Charlotte. So Charlotte could lose the pick.

if Charlotte agrees then the trade will be approved since hes the one who could end up with nothing.

Sorry missed this one, we accept. We fill a position of need, and we like CJ Miles, young, good defender, solid upside.
