I'm sorry there is no way in hell they do that! Offer it on the Warriors board and see what happens? OR just put it in the trade board! You won't like the reaction.

Monta's contract is not that bad, it's kinda long and that's a little off putting but no more so that Danny Grangers deal. Actually Monta's contract is a flat line $11 million for the next 4 yrs and Danny's deal peaks at $14.2 million in it's last year.

If we draft right, the player will be cheaper than Monta and potentially better.

I'm still praying for the #2 or better, Evan Turner would be better than Monta considering the financials.

But you don't know that for sure. IMO, I'd prefer guys who you KNOW put up the numbers, rather than guys that MAY put up the numbers. Unless of course they are old and at the end of their careers, which Monta is only 24.

Monta was my choice back in 06' ?( when we drafted Granger). The scouting report said he was a shorter version of Reggie Miller, so I instantly craved him. I would love to acquire him now, because frankly he has exceeded my expectations. Considering the fact Granger isn't going anywhere, the only other piece we'd have to offer them is our 1st (+expirings), which is a good chip, but consider GS usually drafts high so the incentive might decrease for them.

With this good of a draft class, two top ten picks to pair w/ Curry is a bright, BRIGHT future for GS. If they are for sure thinking of moving foward w/out Monta, I think our 1st and an expiring or two get it done.

Andris has completely freaked out. I'm not kidding. It's crazy. He can no longer put the ball in the basket, even at close range. Check out his game logs. He is avoiding getting the ball when he is on the court unless it's a defensive rebound.

If he doesn't fix whatever is wrong in his head, his career is over. It's a terrible shame, as he was a reliable and underrated center before.

I would have some interest in a trade built around Monta and Hibbert.

This is true. Andris was my favorite Warrior - but it seems like a different person now. Nelson blames it on the result of signing a contract - but I dont think that's the answer. Something is seriously wrong mentally.

Andris must either leave Golden State and get away from Nelson or he must hang on & hope Nelson goes first.

I don't get the attraction to Monta Ellis. Someone tell me that last time a championship or even a very good team utilized a seriously undersized player at the two? If the Pacers fall outside say the top five picks I could see moving our first for a point guard. There might be some opportunities to make a move of this nature (Jersey - Harris, TWolves - Flynn, if one of them drafts Wall). Another possibility being the Hornets and Collison. I would look to do something like this long before I'd persue Ellis with a first round pick as the major trading piece.

Just wanted to revisit this due to where we are now w/ our expirings and now that the future of GS's backcourt seems to revolve around Curry, not Ellis. After reading the article posted on RealGM it seems like Monta may become expendable, especially depending on who they can draft in the upcoming draft, as they will have a lottery pick. Perhaps a draft day trade can be made w/ GS, involving picks/expirings for Monta?

If GSW is SMART...and I'll just have to hope.....they see that they can be ULTRA DEEP, can go full sprint, have max returns from a deep roster with a couple guys for each role....if not decimated by injury.

In that situation, Ellis can be a PG..a SG...an in between and be VERY effective. They have Maggette + Azubuike at SF...so one could say, why draft Evan Turner? Why trade for Granger?

It's not a great draft for PG. I'd guess the Pacers try for Wesley Johnson,,or "best player". Ford has not been good trade bait,will he comeback with a + year? Is there a FA bargain or trade?

Biedrins main problem is an injury he's still handicapped by. He got in the bad habit of shooting with just his arms. He was a %50-55% FT guy...now has no arc on the shot at all

He will be okay. He's about the same age as TH,your rookie PF.

I'm going with my instincts here... I can't prove a thing... but my GS instincts are pretty decent since I've watched all these guys for so long...

I don't think Nellie has much if anything to do with Andris' problem.
