We get a former allstar to run the point, Nelson is only 27 and his shooting will fit nicely with the team...and our FA targets.
is that supposed to be 2012 2nd?

We're sad to lose Miles, but at the same time we are intrigued by Alexander. Magic accept

Minnesota accepts. We cut a bit of future salary and next some nice bench production here.
2010 second round draft pick to Portland
Chicago's own 2010 2nd round pick to Portland. [Chicago - Denver - Portland, 6/27/2008]
2010 second round draft pick to Minnesota
The less favorable of Chicago's 2010 2nd round pick and Portland's own 2010 2nd round pick to Minnesota via Dallas [Dallas - Portland, 6/24/2009; Dallas - Minnesota, 6/25/2009]
2010 second round draft pick to Oklahoma City
The least favorable of Chicago’s own 2010 2nd round pick, Houston’s own 2010 2nd round pick and Portland’s own 2010 2nd round pick to Oklahoma City [Minnesota - Oklahoma City, 7/27/2009]
2010 second round draft pick to Minnesota
Houston's own 2010 2nd round pick to Minnesota [Houston - Minnesota, 2/21/2008]
the trade would have to be
the 2nd least Favourable of Portland or Chicago's or Houston's 2nd rounders since the least favourable of the 3 is already traded...tihs is just getting ugly.
if u both agree on that i can approve it.

the rite to swap N.O. 2010 1st with ATL 2010 1st (the ATL pick is protected 1,2,3,5,7,8
* If the ATL pick is protected or less desirable then the N.O. pick, Miami would get Bost 2010 2nd and ATL 2013 unprotected 1st
Miami is trying to win now. Adding Jackson to our lineup would be a great fit. We are forced to take the salary of J.Foster which we did not want to do and now killed my FA hopes. The well goofy protected pick swap sealed the deal. At best we trade our N.O. 1st for a better pick, worst case we get a late 2010 2nd and way future 1st
Welcome aboard Capt Jack, South Beach is waiting!

Re: GM A Team 2010 Winter - Trades
The Denver Nuggets and Minnesota Timberwolves have come to an agreement on a deal:
DEN sends:
Rights to Greg Monroe [2010 #9 overall]
Danilo Gallinari $3,304,560
MIN sends:
Rights to Ricky Rubio [2009 #5 overall]
2010 CHA 1st [2010 #18 overall]
Works capwise because Minnesota has lots of capspace to absorb Gallinari's contract. Denver accepts, tough to see Danilo go and hate to lose out on Greg Monroe [ok not really I drafted him for Minnesota] but we love the chance to add a piece to the puzzle in Ricky Rubio who we feel can be something special in this league. We also add a pick later in the draft to use on filling holes in the current roster. We wish Gallinari and Monroe the best of luck and welcome Rubio to our team as a part of the Rubio-Melo-Griffin core.

Re: GM A Team 2010 Winter - Trades
approved once Minny accepts, the trade legally cannot be completed till after the draft but that dosent really matter with this type of deal. It works with this years cap and next years since minny is 4 mill under this year and like 30 mill under next.

Confirming the Denver deal, very happy with the current guard rotation and like Galo's game.

Re: GM A Team 2010 Winter - Trades
The Washington Wizards and Milwaukee Bucks announce a pending trade
Wizards trade
draft rights to John Wall
Jrue Holiday $1,627,920
Bucks trade
Darren Collison $1,361,040
draft rights to Demarcus Cousins
rationale
Wall is an intriguing talent however Collison has demonstrated an ability to produce at the NBA level. The drop-off from Wall to Cousins in potential is not too bad.

Confirmed. We pick up a potential star in Wall, which makes Collison expendable. Cousins has attitude questions and Holiday has potential as well.

Re: GM A Team 2010 Winter - Trades
Washington and Oklahoma City announce a trade
WAS trades 2010 CHA 2nd
OKC trades 2011 UTA 2nd
Rationale: The CHA pick is late and the Wizards still have 5 other picks in this draft. Utah is a middle of the road team and if they struggle next year the pick could be pretty valuable.

Miami and NJ have a deal to announce
Miami will send their 2012 2nd, PHX 2012 2nd and ATL's 2013 1st to NJ for the 31st pick (1st in the 2nd round)
We want a prospect that is available now instead of waiting a few years
the reasoning is pretty simple there wasnt any prospects i liked enough to not make this deal worth it.
