I live in Baltimore so I was able to catch that game on TV (second game I've watched this season) and boy do I want to shoot someone in the face. In half 2, Lopez only gets touches when he's completely out of position. Meanwhile the scrubs hoist contested long distance jumpers that have no chance of going in. And our coach insists on using Yi, a bafflingly awful defender, on Blatche when Lopez has had more success.

Is our team really this inept? HA!

It would be nice to watch this team with a competent coach. Someone needs to reign in the guards. Harris' heart is in the right place but he's no hero. He can't shoot threes in the 4th like Billups.

Also I don't know what the refs were doing this game. Guys were getting tossed around and hacked but the refs were too busy calling phantom travels.

dang..I had to leave for the 2nd half for a review session but it's good to know my fear of Blatche wasn't in vain! 36 points damn!! If I remember correctly he set a career high against us last time too.

Oh well, I felt we had a good chance of winning, after coming of that shocking win against the celts but I guess it's too much to ask for with this team...

I've always thought Blatche was a nice under-utilized player, he's real quick for a big man and has surprisingly effective handles (or at least he did today ).

What makes me sad though is that there's still really no concept of team / help defense on this team.

I've always been an Orlando fan, but living my entire life in NJ, the Nets have been my second team. I have partial season tickets with my brother. Last night we got upgraded to the first row directly to the side of the Nets bench. What I saw was quite disturbing. All the guys on the bench were laughing and joking the entire game, clearly not giving a **** about winning. Bobby Simmons makes 10.5m this year to sit on the bench, Josh Boone is terrible (thank god he didn't get 1 second of play)... Yi, really? He couldn't guard me... what a joke.

I know Kiki doesn't have coaching experience, but damn! What a terrible coach. He has no fire, passion, nothing. He just sits there and watches a 15pt lead turn to a 10 point deficit. Yi was getting worked the entire game and he didn't do anything about it. T-Will sat the bench until it took about an hour of heckling Kiki to put him in the game, then what do you know? The Nets came back.

The Nets have a nice core (Devin, Brook, Lee, T-Will) and a great role player in Trenton. Other than that, the team needs to be wiped clean. Being so close to the bench really makes me have second thoughts if I want to continue my season tickets if the team doesn't care about winning.

Just my 2 cents

That was frustrating to watch.I missed the win over the Celts and was hoping to see our first win streak. Its always someone having a career night against this team.
