Carl is everything a pro athlete should be. He appreciates the fact that he's there and he leaves it all on the court. I see an all-star appearance or two in his future.

It was a joy to watch him develop into the beast he is now. I'll forever be a fan and will root for you wherever you are. The trade was great for everyone, but I'm still sad to see Carl go.

I hope the Kings use him well. Then again, he's the type of player that can fit in almost anywhere, whether he's play five minutes or forty. Tough to see him go, but I hope he'll be successful in Sacramento.

He was my favorite person named Carl...

I'm sorry I haven't been funny. I am not a comedian. I am Lenny Bruce.

I will Miss seeing my Favourite player in the league in a rockets singlet, your mad dunks, that smile you give when you know you own someone, (something we will now be on the short end of.) I will miss your tenacity, and profesionalism, (He could have bitched that he deserved nore court time, but didn't!) I will miss seeing you play in an All Star game representing Houston. I hope you win most Improved player, and Sixth man of the year, and I hope that Kevin martin is more injured than Tracy McLady, and that we suck, because we traded off our best player. (I define a Great player by their demeanour, intensity, hustle, and overall work ethic.) You were an easy player for fans to identify with, and will be sorely missed.
I salute you, and can only hope that you might find your way back to Houston one day. Maybe Daryl Moron will pull of some deal next season to get you back here.

That's really one helluva nasty chip, kam. Might should have it looked at before it gets infected.
You're sounding like a rather glum buddy of mine did after we got McGrady. (and for his entire tenure here)
Also, yes I'm aware of the tattoos, but it's a bit hard to call yourself a Rockets fan when you're wishing poxii on them. I'll also miss Landry as much as anyone else from our team other than maybe Battier and/or Scola, one+ of whom seems to be on the short block as well, sadly...
Carl/Scola/Battier's been my favorite group of Rockets since Olajuwon/Horry/Cassell
(even moreso, really, though considering that the alternatives are Olajuwon/Pippen/Barkley and Francis/Mobley/Norris, that might not say much, but damnit, they all kick royal ass!)
but.. better's better. We definitely have more assets now.. which means we could be drastically better soon. So...

I am a huge Landry fan, but he's still Carl #2 after this guy:

We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

Maannnnnnnnnnnnnnn......... I miss him already and I still can't believe he is gone. With T-Mac it was different, because we knew he was on his way out. But Landry? Geez! These are the trades that definatley suck.
Landry is a SOLDIER! Lost teeth 3 different times. Got shot at. He is a gamer! He plays with some intensity. After watching your star players suit up in expensive suits more often than not you tend to appreciate a player like Landry that much more. He is humble. He has the motivation to improve as a player and we got to watch him grow rather quickly into an NBA Baller!
He will be missed and you can bet I wont miss a Kings @ Rockets game.
I'm so dissapointed that I can't watch him anymore. Kevin Martin better step his game up because hes got big shoes to fill now.

Were you a fan when he was in Orlando? Because that's exactly how I felt when he was traded to the Rockets. Now, I want to see him do well in New York but I don't miss him nearly as much as I did before.
Man, six short years have already passed. How time flies by...

Hell yeah I was a fan of T-Mac in Orlando. Boi was AMAZING to watch! At the time my two favorite players in the L got traded for each other! Stevie for Tracy!
Man I miss Tracy too, but I'm just glad the dude is finally going to be able to play again!

I know we miss landry.. but we were smart to trade him.
Very smart.
I have a source who told me that one of the big reasons for us trading Landry is was his knees.
the medical staff said that they don't think his knees would hold up much longer.

Yeah and I heard that the only reason we didn't trade Scola was because of his mystical hair. Don't quote me on it, my super-secret source told me.
