No chance the Jazz would draft and keep Wall. No chance the Jazz resign Boozer. No chance the Jazz can trade Okur. And if the Jazz get a pick beyond the top two or three, no chance they get a real impact player.
I wouldn't go that far, there have been plently of drafts in recent years where picks beyond #3 were impact players:
2009: #4 Evans #7 Curry #10 Jennings (to name a few)
2008: #4 Westbrook #5 Love #6 Gallinari #7 Gordon #10 Lopez
2007: #5 Green #9 Noah #15 Stuckey (this draft sucked for the most part outside of OKC)
2006: #6 Roy #8 Gay #21 Rondo
2005: #4 Paul #10 Bynum #17 Granger
I think O'Conner is an excellent GM, though I know many of you would have your doubts due to his "failure" to pull a great trade. I think he's going to get the BPA or a player that will really fit our system great. I just wonder if we're going to get a defensive big or a SG. I guess if we get the #1/2 pick it's going to be Wall/Turner, if not I guess it's between Favors/Cousins/Whiteside. I know Wesley Johnson is considered a SF, but I'm guessing he could just as easily play SG?
EDIT: Just saw Johnson's FG%, too reminiscent of Jennings chucking, don't think I'd want him at #3, screw him lol.
