They have to be currently playing in the NBA and they can't be a Bobcat.

Who are they and why?

1st Team All Slam:

Image I love his ability to hit massive shots and his amazing creativity/vision when passing the ball.

Image Ok, so he's a bit of a douche with the way he complains to the refs a lot of the time and his manufactured smile when he is interviewed, but he's also captivating to watch play with his all around ability and big shot taking/making.

Image The kid is just SO smooth and SO humble he's SO hard to not like!

Image He might even be my most fav NBA'er these days. I love the passion he plays with. It's not a "KG" type passion - which is actually just trying to bully people and be a dink, it's a true and pure enjoyment at playing the game. Oh ya, and he's freaking good!

Image I love bigs that can go to work in the post. I find it mesmerizing to watch someone with sublime post moves confuse defenders. Big Al does that.

2nd Team All Slam:

Image He's just so much fun to watch play. The crazy fake passes, the finger roll/layups. I like the unpredictability yet effectiveness of his game.

Image All round game, humble, hits big shots, high BBIQ, man crush for about 6 years now.

Image See Kobe above.

Image See Al Jefferson above.

Image Another guy who seems like a bit of a knob but see Tim Duncan above and Al Jefferson above him.

PG Derrick Rose unbelievable talent. Unlimited potential. The Lebron James of point guards, big, strong, athletic and unstoppable one on one. If he gets that 3pt shot down could be the best point guard to play the game. Also has to step the defense up though.

SG The black Mamba on the downside of his career, but I think he's still in the top 3 of the players out now

SF Rudy Gay, I think he's athletic exciting, nice jumper good penetration, then Durant next.

PF Amare I thought he was the league MVP a few years ago when Nash got it the first time. This is when Amare was dropping 30 plus points a game on Tim Duncan in the playoffs, then he had the knee injury. Still got game though.

C I'd like to say Dwight Howard, but his offense still hasn't developed and you cannot be a go to guy center and your team avoids feeding you in the post in the 4th quarter so, I gotta go with Bogut. He and Jennings have carried the Bucks, without Bogut the Bucks are like the Golden State Warriors.

the next group would be Jennings and Billups at PG, Wade at the SG, Caron Butler at SF even though Lebron is the best, Tim Duncan at the 4 even though he's really a center, and Lopez in New Jersey!

How about a team made up of your fav non-super stars, non-all stars, non-star type players? The up and comers?

1st Team All Slam No Name:

Image The kid is like lightning in a bottle. Boundless energy and effort and really starting to come into his own as a creative passer.

Image The way he slices into the key is mesmorizing and the way he plays with such a quiet confidence is scary.

Image His passing and court vision is awesome and his ability to seriously thrown down is a treat.

Image Another excitment machine who can do some amazing things on the court.

Image Huge man, huge skills.

2nd Team All Slam No Name:

Image Hes got that quick as a blink sweet shooting stroke.

Image He's so smooth.

Image The kid can pretty much do it all.

Image Peeps thought he had a chance to be good................but THIS good??

Image The guy is pretty much a comic book character. How can you not dig him?

PG

-Paul- Local guy and is my favorite player in the league. I love watching him work the ball.
-Nash- I can pretty much say the same thing about him but Nash has all the game and is a legit funny dude.

SG

-Ginobili- I love watching him go to the rim and stick 3's in peoples faces. He has no fear.
-Evans- I could have put him at PG but for now he's here. Anyway he's killing it this year and with the addition of Casspi and some of the other young guys stepping up has made the Kings a great team to watch. Plus he is surprisingly clutch. Superstar in the making.

SF

-Durant- Silky Smooth. His game looks effortless.

PF

-Dirk- Never been anyone like him and he is a clutch ****.
-Bosh- I just love his personality. Funny dude.
-Odom- I'm a complete sucker for big guys that can pass and handle as well as he can.

Center

-Duncan- He is a center in my book but he's still one of the best.
-Noah- Is the ultimate energy guy. At Florida he annoyed me but not so with the Bulls so far.
-Lopez- Has some very nice post moves which is a rarity in today's game anymore.

Coach

-LB- He's always been my favorite coach because he doesn't take the easy jobs and in time his teams will steadily improve.
-Riley- Because he was the slick haired coach of my Showtime Lakers from childhood.
