Utah Jazz at LA Clippers

Post#1 » by donemilio21 » Tue Mar 2, 2010 2:44 am

I figured I'd do the game thread since no one else done it so far and there is less than an hour to the game.

Time: 7.30PM PST
Place: Staples Center
TV: FSN Prime Ticket
Previous Meetings: # 10/30 - LAC 98 @ UTA 111
# 02/09 - UTA 109 @ LAC 99

During their six-game winning streak against the Clippers, the Jazz have scored 106.2 points per game, with Boozer averaging 24.3 points and 12.3 rebounds in those contests. It's unclear if Utah forward Andrei Kirilenko will be available for Monday's game after he missed three of the last four due to back spasms.

The Clippers (24-35) have won three straight at home, but they came up empty on a two-game road trip that closed with Sunday's 97-92 loss at Sacramento.
Guards Baron Davis and Eric Gordon combined to shoot 9 of 30 (30.0 percent) as the Clippers were 37.3 percent from the field, the team's worst performance in that category since an 88-72 win over Indiana on Dec. 5.

The Clippers usually dont do good against these guys. If they shut down D-Will and kaman gets a big game, they might have a chance

29-19 Clippers through the first 12 minutes of basketball. 55% from the field, 3 for 6 from 3 and 4 for 4 from the line. Kaman has 10 & 5. The rest of the starters have at least 4. I don't like the number of offensive rebounds that we gave up, but other than that it was a great quarter. Surprising and impressive start from the Clips. The real task will be if they can keep it up.

He supposedly worked on that last summer. I'd be happy if he worked on his ball handling and passing.

Clippers are feeling the wrath of Korver. 9 points for him so far.

If not for the turnovers, Baron would be having a great game.
