Like Dray, Should Gil Change His Number - Now #9

Post#1 » by hands11 » Wed Mar 3, 2010 1:51 am

As silly as it my sound, stuff like this makes a difference if it comes hand in hand with a real change.

Dray got off to a really rough start. He always had the talent but it was his head that was getting in the way. So Dray drew a line in the sand and put the old him in the past. He saw a picture of what he wanted to become and he set his sights on that.

After a summer of being focused, he emerged Seven Day Dray. Braces and all.

The whole Agent Zero thing is all a part of Gils past. In my view, a part of the mental make up and mental problem that was Gil. It's something he needs to let go of. He needs to draw a line in the sand and grow up. I think like Dray, a change of number is in order.

New Number for Gil should be numbers associated with TEAM. ALL about the team. The opposite of the Big 3. Those number are

If Foye leaves, he should take 15 cause there are 15 spots on a roster.
If Boykins leaves take 12 - 12 on an active roster

I like 15 better.

And just for laughs... He could change to number 2, since he likes to poop in shoes :o

But regardless of the number, I think a number change is in order.

I like 10. As in he needs to shoot for 10 assists per game!

I think he should stick with 0, reminding him to listen to zero of these dumb-ass suggestions.

I think he should keep 0, change his nickname to "Absolute Zero," and become the spokesmodel for Absolute Zero Malt Liquor "So cold, you have to pop it into the microwave to drink it."

Absolute Zero is here!

KIDD ZERO
Directly associated with leadership mental toughness and basketball IQ.

I think he needs a nickname that demonstrates his improved basketball Iq and the fact that he successfully carries his team on his back only through sheer mental toughness and desire if he has too..u know like a true hero and strategist. I think the concept of zero is a loner nickname that doesn't encourage b eing a leader of a group of men. I like the nickname. KIDD Zero. No more jokes and he is associated with the greatest big two way point guard ever.
Build your team w/5 shooters using P. Pierce Form deeply bent hips and lower back arch at same time b4 rising into shot. Elbow never pointing to the ground! Good teams have an engine player that shoot volume (2000 full season) at 50 percent.Large Hands

You know so we can keep with the change the number thing from the thread title.

why should he change his number when the 0 symbolizes so much, including this situation. Its like he's the hopeless zero again but bounces back

How about 111 for the number of millions in his dumb ass contract, or 666 to signify his impact on the team?

his impact next year (22+ points, 7+ assists) combined with Dray's current play and a decent FA signing or draft pick likely takes us to the playoffs. cry about his contract, but i'll take his impact on the court 7 days a week.
