It's amazing to me how a team that has really just one glaring need doesn't feel the need to address it.

Thanks, Bowman!

Visnovsky just wasn't working/never worked for us and definitely wasn't a part of a future. Definitely didn't get the return I hope'd we get for him, but Whitney isn't a bad defenceman either.

He's definitely lost his mind. Gigantic steal by the Preds.

Lol and Sutter gave us a 3rd rounder for Staios.

Turned out to be a decent deadline for my Oilers. We got a couple draft picks for some un needed players and dumped Visnovsky's contract for a guy that could turn out to be quite the steal. Now all we need to do is put Horcoff and Moreau on waivers.

I'm sorry but you must not have seen Ryan Whitney play. I don't know what happened to him, but he has gone downhill fast. In case you didn't watch the Olympics, but he didn't get much playing time. Played 2 mins 48 secs in the Gold medal game. He had a ton of offensive potential, but that seemed to disappear in Anaheim. Anaheim gave up on him after only a year. If Tangradi turns out to be what the Pens expect him to be, Ray Shero will have raped Brian Burke in that trade. Kunitz is a huge part of the Pens team and played tremendous last year in the playoffs.

I watched some of him in Anaheimn and he did look terrible. But his contract is shorter and basically half of Visnovsky's and Visnovsky wasn't exactly great with us either. Hopefully he can turn it around and re-realize some of that potential, really I would of been happy with anything for Visnovsky.
