Things that are really messed up is that what we are doing? It looks we are not tanking for the lottery, but we are not running for the playoff either.

so...what is the front office thinking? Looking for a bad lottery pick?

Evans won't be an elite player until he develops a consistent jump shot and he should start off by changing his shooting form. Kevin Martin and Aaron Brooks played like **** tonight. I hope Adelman tears them apart in the locker room. This game made my realize that this team needs a true pg. They could use Brooks as the Bobby Jackson (minus the defense) type player off the bench.

I hope Brooks stays...

IMO we just need scoring swingman who doesn't get shut down by Beno Udrich...

I hope Brooks stays also. He's probably my 3rd favorite player on this team after Martin and Scola. I'm not even going to respond to your second comment.

Kyle Lowry needs to come back and restore order to the universe.

It's not to bad of a sign if the Rockets can play the sloppiest game of the season and still be an Aaron Brooks free throw or 3 from sending the game into OT.

Rockets need a rebounder.

after seeing the rockets play without him, re realized how much work he has to do for this team to get in the playoffs, so he decided to take the rest of the year off ;)

which is why i cannot wait for yao ming to return, we'll always be at least 2 possessions up on the other team in crunch time , and yao will tip the rebounds he cant get to our guys . i cant wait

I went to this game and you know I'm not too upset with the outcome. The Rockets didn't deserve to win that game. Brooks & Martin kept jacking up shots and missing. Our defense was good but our defensive rebounding was piss poor. I haven't looked at the box score yet but I'm sure the Kings had at least 20 offensive rebounds.

Carl Landry was the best player on the floor and if it wasn't for him we would have blown the Kings away. He did just what he did as a Rocket. And as usual is clutch when it matters and Brooks is not once again.

Missed 10 FTs in a 3 point game?? :banghead:

Landry beasting. Garcia just shot over Brooks. Scola kept it close though.

I still think both teams benefited from the trade.

So, my man torched us, (as I predicted!) I love this.

I TOLD YOU SO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Landry is a beast, and will be an All Star. I keep repeating this, because I want you all to say, that I said it first.

In reply to an earlier post, (back on page 1) there are lots of things I love about the Rockets. Landry was at the top of the list, and I have decided not to beat up on Martin too badly. After all, the NBA is a business, and he didn't ask for the trade. I am just glad Landry kicked Arse. I hoped the rest of Sacramento sucked, and they pretty much did! Landry was just what he is, a beast.

To change teams would be to commit an act of the highest sacrelidge. I will continue to have a Man crush on Landry, and hope we kill Sac town from now on in. I just wanted Landry to come home, (and Houston is his home as far as I am concerned) and have a great game, so I can continue to say, that we should NEVER have traded him.

My Rockets Tattoo, and Naming a son Akeem, is pretty much an indication that I m a diehard Rox fan. Now lets see if Morey's "Blueprint" pans out. For his sake, I hope it does.

So here is to next season, I can't even see us in the playoffs this year, if we do make it, it will be by the hair on our balls, and will more than likely result in yet another first round exit.

And we don't have McLady to blame anymore.

Landry is a great player, but you have to realize that the Rockets traded him for another great player. You also have to realize that Martin complements Yao better than Landry does. Martin has a good chance of being an all-star starter next year if he averages 25+ ppg, if he stays healthy, and the Rockets have a good record. You basically traded an all-star pf for an all-star sg because you are building around your star center. I still don't see how the trade was bad. It's not like one team got the better of the deal. Both teams benefited.

holy crap, i didnt even konw temple played on the kings this game. i thought i saw him but his contract ended so i thought it was someone else. daam, conroy was crpa this game. this season doesnt matter but for a 3rd pg, temple isnt a bad way to go, plus he can play sg and maybe some sf. w/ the league getting bigger, he could be more useful then a regular sized point, but w/e we'll see

Red94.net has an interesting article on the duel between Carl Landry and Chuck Hayes with video to support his article too.
