Eight months is about how much time has passed since I turned mine on.

The DVD player doesn't work, which was the biggest thing I wanted it for, but I can stop rebuying all those NES, SNES, and N64 games I've already bought, AND pull out all my commodore stuff :)

Also I want to play SOTN on the PS1 emulator, since I don't have a PS anymore.

Tyrian is still a pretty decent game, but imo, the shmup I made was better (and incomplete and unreleased).

Max, why you always buy Live over 2K?

2K has been a better overall game for the last decade.

In other news, check out Zombie Apocalypse on PSN. There's a demo of it for you to try before you buy. IMO, easily worth the $10 price tag.

Four player online co-op.

if you want simulation basketball game stick with 2K
if you want run and gun, fun basketball stick with Live
i want to play video game basketball so i play Live
if i want real simulation of basketball i go play on the court myself

ps
after reading all the comments and reviews
2K10 is pretty much the same as 2K9 except roster update and few bugs fixed
Live 10 really improved over Live 09
don't tell me how realistic 2K is
i was unstoppable with Tony Battie in the post in 2K9

i switched to 2K after Live 2004, 2K5 and 2K6 disappointed me (game keep freezing, i hate it)
i stopped playing in 2007 and 2008
bought Live 09 because it was on sale and i need to use my Best Buy gift card
i love Live 10 after playing the demo
price Live 10 $50, 2K10 $60 (with Kobe on the cover -- xxxk that)

Hey guys. I've been creating a website where you can store all of your friend codes in one place, so you can easily just post a link in your sig or in a post on a message board, and have them all listed in 1 spot. You will be able to manage them and keep them updated from the site, find new friends, chat, play some games, etc. It's going to be a really fun site. I'm only posting a link here, because I frequent this board every day, and I'd like to get some feedback from you guys as I develop it, and before it's ready to be released to the general public. So please check it out here: http://friendcodes.freehostia.com/ sign up, post your friend codes, etc., and give me any and all feedback you can - good or bad.

Thanks!

Nice! I'll click around more later, but I like the interface.
