OT: Vasquez for Cousy Award -- Your Vote 3/5/10 Only

Post#1 » by Chocolate City Jordanaire » Fri Mar 5, 2010 1:45 pm

Voting ends today (Friday 3/5/10). Just wanted anybody who thinks he's deserving as the nation's top collegiate PG to have the chance to vote before it's too late.

The heartwarming post-game hug father and son shared should have won Vasquez a few more fans, but here's an unexpected sign that perhaps he's already won a few of his critics over so far this season. Would you believe as of Wednesday night he holds a slim lead over Kentucky's John Wall in fan voting for the Cousy Award?

Here's the link to the fan vote:

Greveis means more to his team than anybody I can think of, except perhaps Hummel of Purdue.

FYI, Lin from Harvard has zoomed past Vasquez in the poll.

Lin, I wouldn't object to seeing win it. He's not a one-year wonder. However, I view him as a SG.

Wall's team would be about as good with Bledsoe at PG.

That article might have worked against Greivis.

If you look at the past winners pictured, all have made NBA teams except for Dee Brown. He's had a successful pro career overseas. That's the worst-case scenario for Vasquez IMO.

I think Vasquez will be a successful pro somewhere. I am not sure if it will be in the NBA or a foreign league.
