The Suns board was fun to watch...from cruise control to panic.

Nice to see we're not the only ones who like to rip on our All-Star point guard after losses.

It just killed me when TNT showed the graphic comparing this year's Nash stats to his "MVP" season stats with the title: "Another MVP year?"

No.

No.

Not even close.

All that graphic did was show how undeserved Nash's MVP awards were. He's a fantastic point guard, but he's no MVP.

I find it interesting that in the two come from behind victories against the Suns we've been able to beat these guys in two different ways.

First meeting I believe the Jazz had a huge advantage in the paint, Phoenix was draining 3 after 3 and shot lights out till the end. I remember thinking if the Jazz keep it up down low, the Suns jumpshots will stop falling and the Jazz will execute better down the stretch.

Last night was the opposite, Phoenix dominated the Jazz down low for the first 3 quarters and ended up with a 56-42 advantage in the paint. The Jazz however found a way to shoot lights out from downtown. 19 offensive rebounds and 38 free throws sure helped as well.

My point is given the Jazz play the Suns in the playoffs they should be very confident in beating the Suns at their own game, and playing Jazz basketball.

My point is the Jazz are a better half court executing team, and are the better running, fast break team as well.

.....To all you CJ haters, he gets MVP of this game no doubt. Back to back 3's to get the Jazz within 5 i believe, and then the And one layup to give the Jazz the lead...Just saying guys.....

I've been a CJ hater, but the kid has been playing better lately. He still has some off nights, but I think we're often way too critical of him for committing "normal" mistakes. He's been much more than just a chucker lately.

D-Will also hit back to back threes and had another one late in the fourth quarter. Come on, D-Will was HANDS DOWN the MVP of this game.

And he single-handedly created at least one of Memo's looks from three.

And he only had one "real" turnover (assuming that last shotclock violation with 0.3 left was one of the two turnovers in the boxscore).

This team has created more heartburn and joy for me than any other team in the past. You never know whats going to happen except one thing which is they never give up, and I have to give credit to where credit is due Mr. Jerry Sloan...He is the best senile head coach I have ever seen.

Like I said last night he made the big 3's and that's great but both were classic CJ Miles plays. Hmmm lemme take a contested 3 with plenty of time left on the clock. Why? Cause I'm awesome.

That's not Jazz basketball, if he had missed that could have possibly been the ball game and we would all be ranting about how much he sucks.

It was team effort, resilience and confidence in each other basically.
That said, Miles of course was a big lift, and so was Okur, and Kirilenko, and Boozer too because he found ways to contribute creating space and holes in offense in the fourth (high IQ basketball if you ask me)... but Deron Willams was absolutely the main factor closing out the game with a wonderfull demonstration of team handling, poise and a huge dosis of cold blood in a copole crunch plays.
Tha last 6 or 7 minutes of the game we were able to watch Deron Williams being the best PG in the league; I really hope he matures quickly enough to consistently mantain that kind of performances. He's a joy to watch when he's playin that way.

You have to admit that, no matter what, Sloan just doesn't panic and always transpires the right attitude to his players. That's one of the reasons I have high respect for Coach. In my eyes he's just one of the best basketball coaches ever, and contrary to some fans beliefs, IMHO he's great playing matchups and adjusting on the fly.

I keep reminding myself that Deron has a long career ahead of him and that the career trajectory for a lot of star point guards has a long positive slope to it. Look at guys like Billups and Nash: they weren't great early in their careers. They kept getting better as they got older. Even a guy like Kidd is still very productive at his age. Let's hope Deron follows suit.

I know that it is poor sportsmanship and I should be happy that we won... that reffing last night had me really scratching my head at times.

No, you just personally attack the players and coaches of your supposed favorite team...
