^^^^ those jerseys are the best suns jerseys ever... sucks that they stopped wearing them, they should go retro permanently like the sixers, just don't suck like the sixers though lol

It would be really cool if they keey the outline of the current jerseys (the v-neck, and the arm and side outlines) while bringing back the 90s logo. If someone has photoshop, try making it. Just use the current home jerseys, but replace the Suns and the # with the 90s style. Might look good, I don't know.

I would love to see them wear it. Amare+Jrich+Nash+Hill would look smooth in it 8-)

Is that Frye in the background of the Marion-cleared-for-takeoff photo?

Also, the Suns really have had a lot of great jerseys, haven't they? Is it wrong to consider this a good reason to like them as a team?

Fashion Forward
For anyone hoping that the Suns would break out their throwback jerseys this season, sorry fans, you’re going to have to wait a year or two. According to Suns equipment manager Jay Gaspar, only a few teams are permitted by the league to wear throwback jerseys and it comes down to a marketing deal.

This season, the only uniform changes that will occur is when the Suns sport their “Los Suns” jerseys for the designated Latin nights on March 21 (Portland) and March 29 (New York). In addition, there will be the “green week” where the Suns don eco-friendly gear and rock green wristbands and socks..

But next season, the Suns will convert over to new “NBA 30” uniforms that were worn during this season’s All-Star Game. Gaspar said that they’re lightweight and are comprised of a type of fabric that is supposed to absorb moisture more efficiently.

crap... I'm guessing this means we'll probably have re-designed uniforms too. I don't know if I trust Sarver not to F them up... lol.... Then again the all star jersey from the PHX game were pretty sick.

Oh and the other part of this is how they only allow a certain number of teams to wear throwbacks the problem I have is why does Cleveland ALWAYS get to wear them. I guess it's so the NBA can sell more lebron jerseys.

My unofficial tally of throwback LBJ jerseys is at 7. If he sticks around in cleveland I predict we'll see number 6 rockin the kemp era jersey next year.
