I came upon this and thought to post it. I wonder if people in OKC even believe he is a better scorer than Kobe or Carmelo?

Longer by a quarter inch. I wonder though, since those are pre-draft measurements, how much they have changed since then?

"better scorer" is a pretty general term, and I don't think you can definitively say that any of Kobe, Carmelo, or Durant are a better scorer than the others... you could potentially throw Lebron and a few others into that discussion to.
I do think that Durant is probably the most efficient scorer in the league. And at this point, he may be the most versatile scorer (he's probably one of the top scorers from at the rim all of the way out to 26 or 27 feet).
You can of course look at "best scorer" from the standpoint of "who do you want to have the ball on the last possession of the game?" And in that area, I think Durant is WAY off of the front of the pack. I don't think I'd really even put him in the top 10 or 20 in that area... he just doesn't currently have much ability to create offense, he generally ends up just shooting over someone or trying to draw a foul.

I think he is one of the best scorers next to KOBE, LEBRON, CARMELO. He has great height and can shoot from anywhere from the court, I think if you give him a few more years he will be hard to defend when he gains more weight.
Aaron Brooks use to tie my shoe, back in middle school! hahaha good luck buddy!

Re: Kevin Durant best Scorer in the NBA?
I view being the best scorer as the player who puts up points, in efficient/varied ways. Also, the person who makes scoring look easy or smooth.
Kevin Durant
Carmelo Anthony
Kobe Bryant
that's my list.
LeBron and Wade are great but they are not true scorers in my book (not a bad thing either). They are just not diverse enough to be in this conversation, IMO. Especially LeBron.
