Thursday Night Football: Bears @ Redskins

Post#1 » by SportsWorld » Tue Dec 4, 2007 5:48 am

I bet you all have been waiting all week for this one
It's the battle of the horrible coaches. Who will win?

Player of the Game:
Chris Cooley

The Bears have struggled against Tight Ends this year so Cooley will bust out.

How many people in Chicagoland won't be able to see this game? 2 million?
First the federal government borrowed money; then gave the money to Bank of America; then I borrowed some of that money from Bank of America and gave it to the federal government; then the federal government gave the money back to Bank of America.

Who cares about this game. I just want the season to end.

btw, I don't think the Redskins are a bad team. We had horrible luck this season, especially when it came to injuries.

Same with the Bears, but not as bad luck.

I won't, but I'm technically not in Chicagoland, despite Rockford's best efforts to try to be

Well nothing can be done about Joe Gibbs. Hes already said hes coming back for next year and maybe more.

Just gotta get used to the conservative gutless coaching.

The only silver lining to this game is that we're finally getting Randy Thomas back. It sucked not having one of the best guards in the NFL.

Mike Sellers and Randle El are also gonna play.

The game is on WPWR-TV Chicago, cable channel 8. So, if you guys live in Illinois you should get the game.

Playoff implications. Skins win and we are right back in the playoff hunt. This team is finally getting healthy and a win tonight would be huge. We can definetly beat NYG and the Vikes and we always play Dallas tough at home.

Believe!

Even better news, along with Pro Bowl caliber Randy Thomas returning at RG, we have our young and promising RT Stephon Heyer starting in place of sucky Todd Wade.

We should get a running game going today hopefully...

Grossman hurt. Cornelius Griffin just clobbered him.

Some bad news for skins fans, from the nfl.com chat

Adam Schefter

Posted 8:50 PM ET

Speculation around the league keeps swirling that Redskins coach Joe Gibbs will walk away after this season. But in talking to the Redskins, they do not get that sense. They feel Gibbs will return to fulfill the last year of his contract, that he will be back to try to make this franchise right for Redskins owner Daniel Snyder before he walks away. But know this: Gibbs will get to coach this team as long as he wants. Snyder is not doing to Gibbs what he did to Norv Turner, Marty Schottenheimer and Steve Spurrier. Gibbs gets to make the call on how long he patrols the Redskins sideline.

Wow Cooley limps off and now Campbell is about to be carted off.

Why isn't the season over yet?
