They got Boldin plus a 5th rounder. So they gave up a 3rd rounder, and their 4th rounder just slides down 1 round.

Good for them. If that's what the asking price was, I know why Mayhew didn't go after him. He wants to add draft picks. Not lose any. After last year's draft, it's a pretty good strategy.

Yeah, I'm not too upset about not going after Boldin. I think Burleson will be a very good #2 for us, and we didn't lose any picks out of the deal.

Need to turn our focus onto RBs (Betts is my fave on the market) and CBs....

And Corey Williams. We didn't lose a draft pick in acquiring him either. Mayhew's doing a good job adding solid player while keeping draft picks.

Rumors are that the Rams are offering the Eagles their 2nd rounder (#33) for McNabb.

Would be REALLY BAD news for anyone who wants us to get Suh at #2....

Sidenote.....teams will be calling us to trade up for Bradford now....

Seattle, Cleveland, Washington, Buffalo, Oakland, Carolina, maybe Miami??

Trade down scenarios should increase heavily.

eh, whatever. I think Marshall is a great young WR who I'd love to have on the Lions with Calvin... but him moving to Seattle or Cincinatti...doesn't really effect us much beyond Seattles draft compensation possibly affecting out ability to trade down.

Not sure a Calvin/Marshall pairing would work here. Two #1 Wrs on the same team usually proves to be more hassle than anything else....

Browns are shopping Quinn. With Derek Anderson and Brady Quinn available, I think STL will go hard for one of them. Oh nose!

Suh or trade down or Berry or bust.

Makes you wonder if Cleveland has a hard-on for Bradofrd (and they will try to move up) or Claussen, who they may be able to get with their own pick.

They just traded for Wallace and are meeting with Jake Delhomme. This screams housecleaning at QB.

They replaced Quinn/Anderson with Delhomme/Wallace? Lateral move or slight downgrade??
