Five of your titles were in Minneapolis. You've had more success recently but the Celtics had the most unprecedented run of success in NBA history. Maybe you can compare the Big Three to Kobe's Lakers and Bird's Celtics to the Showtime Lakers, but nothing comes close to Auerbach and Russell.

13 of the Celtics' 17 championships came before 1977. 11 came before 1970. The majority of their titles were won when the league had 10 teams. Ten! I'm happy to compare apples with apples here.

LA won 5 titles with Minnesota, 1 in 1972, and 9 since 1980. That's compared to Boston's 4 since 1980. LA has more than doubled Boston's championships during the modern era of basketball. The era that really should count for all intents and purposes.

In addition, LA holds the NBA record for most home wins, most road wins, most total wins, most playoff appearances, most playoff wins and most finals appearances.

Can we clarify the playoff rules on streaming just so nobody with the best record in the league and a questionable moral compass gets tempted to do anything funny when The Invincibles make it a ballgame in the finals.

Does anyone else find it ironic that Carl of all people would criticize anyone on grounds of moral character?

Eh, he's right to question it. I was planning on streaming like a bitch, as long as I was not too busy performing abortions, urinating on animals and having sex with the corpses of dead soldiers.

On top of being disadvantaged by my streaming, Carl will be in church all day Sunday, so he won't get the chance to make changes to his roster that day. I'll be at home, doing atheist things, like being morally questionable, and playing fantasy sports.

This is a very close league this season. Coady's been on top all year, but bww has been a close 2nd, and currently the other playoff teams have been neck-and-neck all year. Now WB and ham are making late surges in order to usurp someone. Should be a good final 2 weeks.

blah...good win Carl. I really had no chance without Eric Gordon, but it was still close all week.

One week in the regular season to go. I've brought up 100 wins this year, and look a near-lock for the playoffs.

The Invincibles deal the crushing blow that knocks the loser WB out of playoff contention. 11-6-1 on the season is ultimately disappointing against such a crap opponent but WB can be a tough little **** when he wants to annoy you.

Earlier this season it seemed as though Standfurd would break my all-time wins/winning percentage record, but after choking down the stretch he's squandered that opportunity.

The Invincibles have done what we need to do to secure the all-important #3 seed and get into the weaker side of the playoff bracket. Everything is set up for myself against The Juggernaut in the finals as long as he doesn't keep choking away the season.

so.....

who is predicting their team will be good enough to take the championship, beating stanford along the way? keep in mind, the veterans on the playoff-locked teams shed minutes in the final weeks. the superstars on the top teams are often sitting games altogether and getting minor minutes - if any - in back-to-backs.

add in games played too...

anybody good enough?

Sorry... didn't see it.

I don't like caps being put on. I'm open to feedback on this; but, it's a dynasty league. If you drop anybody of value, that player is likely to be picked up. And you'll be impacting your TO column. I'm open to this; but, I'd need to be swayed...
