Official Atlanta Hawks positives

Post#1 » by ATL DirtyBird » Sun Mar 7, 2010 5:39 am

After every loss this thread becomes drowned in negativity. Lets talk positive and how happy we are with the progress of our players, etc etc.
Joshs progression has a player has made the season for me.
Come on guys, this has been a great year, lets be thankful we are here!
Is it to much to ask for a team that plays hard and cares? Seems so.

Well, Duke kicked the crap out of UNC today. Actually that probably wasn't what you meant. Marvin had 3 straight good games prior to the Miami game which gives hope for future development. He's been much better on the boards of late which is something he should excel at given his size at SF. Josh has had a great year and seems on the verge of becoming a superstar. Jamal Crawford has worked out far better than I ever imagined.

That's all the positivity I can muster right now.

Well, it was on the road...

Yeah that shouldn't be an excuse. This loss sucks.

We have already clearly outlined the positives. But until some new ones emerge I see no reason to be optimistic about our chances going forward. We have gotten better with the addition of new personnel and the continued improvement of Smoove, but once again we lack the mental toughness and leadership on the court to get over the top.

I think Joe Smith will be a positive moving forward, he had it going early last game but didn't get many minutes in the second half, though he should have.

Ugh, do not remind me on this board. I am currently enrolled at UNC, and had to turn off the game yesterday after just 10 minutes because I could not take much more. Horrible day in sports for me yesterday, so I could use some positives. A positive is that I see us going at least 7-3 in our next 10 games.

It makes me :D that we won't have to face Nate Robinson tomorrow.

Still smiling...that's the whole point. Against a team who lost their best player in terms of match-up pb for us, we still find a way to get down 10-12 twice, come back and cannot execute offensively.
I am seriously questionning if we should not trade Bibby during the summer before his only value will be cap space relief...
1 pt again tonight. Woody has to use his bench more. More and more, looks like that we have a 6 men rotation... No way Teague can develop under those circunstances, we are lucky the Westbrook and Parker are playing West. Single handidly they would destroy our D...
