No-Nuts has been boarding better lately?!

Post#1 » by Clangus » Mon Mar 8, 2010 4:43 am

Is it a aberration or can he keep it up?

(last 4 games)

10 boards v Sacto
11 boards Vs Clippers
4 boards Vs the Nuggets (Blowout)
9 boards Vs the Raptors

I mean until that point the dudes best effort since Jan 13 was 8 (once) and for the rest of the season before he only bettered 8 one time (10 on Dec 26) Now he has done it 3 times in 4 games? What gives?

Thoughts?

he really has been stepping up... not only on the boards but on defense. I think he's a long way from the shot blocking presence that i'd love to see behind Green/Durant... but nonetheless, a solid defensive center that has gone from jump-shooting big to decent all-around post player over the last several weeks. To me, he's shown enough to give me some confidence that we can keep him on the floor instead of throwing Nick/Serge in for defensive purposes.
