Bad Starts becoming a problem!!!
How to fix the bad starts to games. It has become the Jazz biggest problem of late. A line up change starting Korver for Matthews might help. I think Sloan needs to go to DWILL and ask him to be more aggressive offensively looking more for his shot at the start of games.
Otherwise, the team playing well especially in the 4th quarter.

Top 4 seed in the West!!! Guaranteed!!!

Another thread?? Really??
You already made like 10 threads calling for a change in the starting lineup...we get it.

I've wanted Korver to be starting on the jazz for years. And if you look at his few starts he played very well...but it's not happening

jazz won by 20, post your long-winded rants in the game thread where no one will read them.

Seems like stealing from Peter to pay Paul or however that goes. I don't think a quick start necessarily catapults a team to a different level, or changes things in the future. Games are won by executing plays, it's not a micromanaged mind game played by Sims who pee their pants and get depressed because you didn't press the right button.

Clippers had a good start to the game and look where it got them...

Word is, South Beach is ecstatic that they
won't be seeing Millsaps talents again this season...

Exactly....apparently hot stars are overrated if you go by how many times the jazz have made huge comebacks....how many times have the lakers won at the buzzer this year??? Some of those were against crap teams, I dont see anyone freaking about that.....or how about the fact that the jazz actually have a better road record than Denver and have proven at least as much as them yet somehow they are considered far superior to the jazz....

Denvers kicked our ass this season, two times without their two best players...thats why they are considered (rightfully so) superior.

They've got the better record too. Scoreboard.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

By that logic, the bobcats are far supeior to the cavs & the Lakers......my point is the nuggets have had 1 good year in the playoffs after several crap ones yet they are "elite", they have a poor road record while the Jazz sucked last year in the playoffs but had some success in the previous years and have a winning road record yet are considered "pretenders".....by the way JF1971 call me crazy but the massive 1 game lead they're sporting over the Jazz is not = far superior....

I think this is more the general consensus because they have the best pieces to deal with the Laker frontcourt and have a backcourt that can keep pace with theirs as well.
Our wild card against the Lakers is pretty much Deron, unless Okur decides to play defense in the playoffs. If he could slow down either of their 7 footers, we would have a decent chance.

They also have an absolutely dominating record against the winning teams in the entire league. Look, I hate the Nuggs, but you cant bury your head in the sand.

Re: Bad Starts becoming a problem!!!
I'm not saying a one game lead is dominating. Only that it indicates a better team. Should we finish the season with a one game advantage, I'll say the Jazz were a better team.
It cuts both ways.
Nothing says how good a team is better than record.

so their losses against crap teams are ok but the jazz's are not and the jazz's record against top teams not named LA & Denver is discounted but Denver's is praised? I'm not saying the Jazz are a lock to win the championship r anything but it just seems that RGM in general and JAzz fans in particular hate to give them any credit.....any fan that does is instantly a "homer".....I think Denver is a good team I just happen to think the Jazz are as well....IMHO if anyone besides DWill & Booze show up for the playoffs they'll be tough for anyone...

Re: Bad Starts becoming a problem!!!
Im not sure what your point is....every sign points to Denver being better than Utah, which is all that was said.

Mr. Hollinger and the rest of the dorks from dorkapalooza might disagree. And they might be right.

I do like the fact that the Jazz can change and adapt during the course of the games.
