Would Justin Fargas be a nice RB addition? Still rather have Betts, but Fargas might be an ok #2 option....

I'll take any of the Oakland RB's. Would mostly want McFadden or Michael Bush, though.

I like McFadden. But I have a feeling the Lions will draft a late round RB and stick with Morris/Brown.

What about Aaron Rouse? 6'4" safety, 3 years in the NFL mostly with the Packers.

I'm honestly asking would he be a good idea?

Is McFadden (and/or Bush for that matter) even on the open market? I know Fargas is, are the others?

Raiders came out and said that EVERYONE on their roster is on the block.

KO Simpson was actually decent prior to his injury. Definitely was worth a lot more then the 7th we gave up for him.

I don't want to trade picks for McFadden, and that goes double for Bush.

Rather just sign Ladell Betts (#1 option) or Fargas.

Neither are feature backs, though. And Betts is just as injury prone as Portis. Seems like Betts is only healthy when Portis is healthy.

Betts isn't injured THAT often...

Over the past 4 seasons, he's averaged around 14 games per season. Last season was the fewest he's played since 2003 - 10 games.

Ko was decent when he wasn't hurt. Down the stretch of the season he played injured. He was never a world beater, but he was decent.

Raiders would love to move anyone but JaMarcus Russell apparently. I thank god they drafted him at #1 everyday LOL.

Fargas is good. He's not elite... but he can run. I don't think the Lions will make any more moves until the draft nears closer. I know they'll work the phones to move down if they think Suh will be gone. I think it's between Suh and Okung at this point.

*ahem*

Cut last week by the Jets, veteran cornerback Lito Sheppard is looking for a new home.

We're told that two teams are in the mix for his services. Per a league source, the Detroit Lions and the Chicago Bears have expressed interest.

To date, no visits have been scheduled.

Sheppard was traded last year from the Eagles to the Jets. The eight-year veteran appeared in 11 regular-season games with nine starts in 2009. He started eight in a row before being removed from the starting lineup for the AFC title game.

That does not excite me one bit. At this point in his career, he's more name then talent.
