Not sure about the results yet but I assume McFadden is #2, Brennan #3, and Daniels #4.

Why does a Florida player have to be the first underclassman to win it? Florida fans are so arrogant and obnoxious, I'm going to be hearing about this one for a long time. Thank God we beat them this year and they're playing in some Dip 'n Dots bowl against Michigan or it would be unbearable.

I really didn't want Tebow to win it either, as if his jock riding wasn't bad enough :nonono:

That said, Mcfadden sure as hell didn't deserve it either. I'm glad we beat Florida also :)

No.
Tim Tebow will win it again or possibly Medenhall if he returns for his senior year.
Locker will win one in his junior or senior year.

Figure if Meyer can get the Florida D back into shape, it won't be that hard for Tebow to repeat.

How is him winning the Heisman riding his jock?

He has been the best player in CFB, on a consistant basis all season long. He had 1, count it, 1 subpar game this season vs. LSU, and I'm only counting that because he completed less than 50% of his passes.

I know you said McFadden didn't deserve it either (and this goes out to anybody else who said he didn't deserve it), but saying Tebow wasn't deserving is pure stupidity.

And, I'll go out and say it now (anyone can quote me on this):

If he doesn't decide to jump, Tim Tebow will join Archie Griffin as the only 2 time Heisman Trophy winner next season.

I think you're a little confused on what "jock riding" means. It doesn't matter how good they are. The fact that he won the Heisman and two other awards is only going to increase that "jock riding."

Picking him to repeat is probably the most likely scenario for next year. Especially considering the Gators are going to be better next year. There's a possibility of some incoming players to take away some of his stat padding, though.

McFadden is the first back to back runnerup since 1948-49 (It was also done in 44-45)

My mistake, I read your first post out of context and thought you were saying they gave him the Heisman as part of riding his jock. I understand what you were saying now. Tebow's jock will need a saddle for all the riding it will take part in next season.

I've posted this on the Magic forum a couple of times, but while Tebow has sort of stat padded with his rushing TD's, I don't think you can discredit his stats for "stat padding" when there is no capable back. Pretty much anyone that knows anything about football would rather have Tim Tebow running it in from inside the 10 over Kestahn Moore, Percy Harvin, and Brandon James(the last 2 are too small and Moore is a fumbling machine). Next year Mon Williams hopefully will be healthy as will the transfer from USC Emmanuel Moody and we'll have 2 capable backs to take some of the burden off of Tebow. If that happens, expect Tebow to be a much more efficient passer and have better passing stats. If the Gators are as good as advertised he could have close to 4000 passing yards and 35-40 passing TD's next year.(playing in 14 games counting the SEC CG)

I worded it poorly, I think Tebow was very deserving, I thought McFadden wasn't.

It was more of a "as much as I hate him, he should get it" kinda thing.

I'd be hesitant to look to Moody to help with red zone rushing. If he were truly good at that, I'd bet that he'd still be at USC.
