I dunno it clearly looks like Frye swung just one fist toward the guy -- I kinda think Frye is bs'ing a little. However, it didn't land, and it was a minor scuffle. The ejection and fines should have been enough.

by this ruling, chauncey billups should have been suspended for 5 games and received a large fine for the elbow he nearly knocked dragic out with. that was much more devastating than the pansy scuffle that occurred in the Pacers game.

I Hate This Game!

Cannot wait until the Stern Era is over. Fortunately, it will happen during my life time, and maybe I will once again view the NBA like it was during the early/mid 90s. Now THAT was a great time to be a fan!
Looking forward to the 28-29 season.

Looked to me he was pushing him away. Hibbert did throw one at Nash while wrapped up by the ref, but of course the league won't suspend him.

I think you guys need to get over the Amare/Diaw suspensions. It was the right call, there was an altercation and they were more then half way there. It's unlucky that it happened so close to the bench.

The NBA is a no nonsense league, no matter how small the altercation the league is going to crack down on it.

Blame Frye not the league.

Blame Frye for what? That hit on Howard by Gasol the other night was much worst. Do we read about it? No.

Granger suspended two games?

Just hours before the opening tip against the Pacers, the Sixers learned that Indiana would be with out their leading scorer Danny Granger who had been suspended for two games because of an altercation he had had with Phoenix’s Channing Frye on Saturday.

Enough with the conspiracy theories. He swung a weak ass punch and got clipped for it.

mountains out of molehills people, i doubt we really need frye for the lakers game. Jarron and Lopez are need to play tough and physical, and hopefully get some of the laker bigs in foul trouble

I expected as much from Stern, maybe players should try to bypass the suspensions by slapping instead of punching.

It could be a blessing in disguise. I could see Gentry playing Frye huge minutes if he wasn't suspended. I don't mind Frye getting 15-20mpg but when he gets major minutes in the 4th when Lopez is neither in foul trouble nor playing particularly badly, then I have a problem with it. Still would've liked to see us go against the Lakers at full strength.

Not sure how to take this right now. Frye is capable of shooting lights out and put the game away or he could just be hurting us. I would have liked him to play against the Lakers, especially since it is a home game.

But it was actually a curse in disguise. Lopez had Zero rebounds in 19 minutes and six points for the game. If Frye pulled those numbers it would have been dissapointingly expected. Being able to pull Bynum or Gasol out of the paint in the 4th quarter would not have been a bad thing.
