I have two problems with the raptors mods.
First off, I emailed them about something semi-important on Sunday. They still haven't gotten back to me.
Secondly, in this thread viewtopic.php?f=32&t=994073, one of the mods accused me of being a banned poster. After I stated my case, they never apologized or anything. The reason I am mad is because people think I was lying about my excuse, despite the fact that it can be easily proven true if the mods put forth some effort into looking at my story, and posting if they find it true or false(it is true btw).

Next weekend when you send an e-mail to us pointing out that the same poster has returned and is attacking you I'll make sure to put the ball down, tell my kids that I can't play with them because Hobo Gonzolez needs me NOW and, as he pays me so handsomely for my work I have no recourse but to bend over backwards and deal with this life or death issue immediately.

On a further note to ensure that your e-mails get answered the instant you hit send I'm trying to launch some new Raptors Moderation Team initiatives. Perhaps a giant spotlight that can be aimed at the sky or, perhaps we each should have a special red phone alerting the team of your peril.

take what the other mods have said and filter it to the point: checking the email isn't an hourly or daily priority. we do the modding thing on the side. we don't get paid. i, in fact, do it while at work. so going off-site to check a mod email is not a priority. you have to give it time. RGM is supposed to install a PM function. its coming. so is my senior's pension, mind you. perhaps they will both arrive together.

one suggestion: you went on a bit of a post-tagging spree last week. when posters do that, mods tend to react (rightly or wrongly) by taking their other methods of contact with a grain of salt. not saying you should have been accused of being a return poster. rather, i am suggesting that you need to chillax a bit, let things cool down and let us go from there.

2 days, and there are 8 mods on the Raps board. Stop making it sound like I expected a reply in an unreasonable amount of time.

I am actually only annoyed about the Raps mods lack of communication. The handling of the previously banned poster was done fine.

The reason I exagerated is because I wanted to make a point.

And I for one do not like your assertations that we don't or didn't "put forth some effort". Through no fault of your own you have made an enemy who chases you around - we get that. Sorry about your luck. But you are without a doubt the most high maintenance poster we have on the Raptors board and you have the audacity to complain about our lack of effort and communication.

We are the largest board with the most mentally unstable fan base - we are constantly putting out fires - that is why we have so many mods. We have lives and on a weekend it is not uncommon for us to not check the e-mail because we have things that are more important. I'm sorry that the injustices you face daily are not our primary priority at all times, but understand we do look out for you.

Why is it that all the other mods are able to explain things in a decent way that makes me understand things from your point of view, but whenever you post I always feel like you guys are being lazy and trying to make excuses. I am not sure if you are just mad at me for calling you out about calling me a banned poster, but I reccomend talking to the other mods about how to say things in a way that will not get people all pissed off at you.

Understood. Though I still think that there should be a way for the mail to be checked daily, considering there are 10 mods. That means each mod can check the mail once a week, and there is still 3 mods who gets the week off. It doesn't seem like that big a deal if you put it in that perspective.
