Jackson shots at Kobe?

Post#1 » by supaflash » Wed Mar 10, 2010 11:17 pm

http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=4981982

What are they talking about?

and by the way I hate Skip Bayless.... guy is a moron and a huge sensationalist. Makes such a big fuss about stuff that is usually wrong...

Anyway, whats going on here? Rift forming between Phil and Kobe again? I've really only seen Phil hard on Pau and deservedly so, only other thing I've noticed was Phil on Kobe's injuries and once and a while on his shot selection, which is typical...

Only on realgm is 27,000 points, 5 rings, 1 rs mvp and 2 finals mvp considered overrated!

I don't think Skip Bayless is anywhere near close to anybody in the Lakers organization. This kind of negative media attention is the by product of being the Lakers.

You know what.........if Phil is tired of coaching then take your ass out the door. I'm getting tired of all this crap always hitting the media and them having a field day with over reacting. Yeah it does seem like Phil just can't give Kobe credit, I've yet to hear or see proof where he said Kobe is a great player or one of the best to play the game.

This is why I hope Byron Scott can hold off on taking another job, just wait til Phil leave. Phil is nothing more than a "drama hoe" himself, for a guy who claims to despise the media he sure finds a way to plug his grill up to the mic. Stop being a fake and admit you're a drama hoe.

Pure garbage. Phil is just sarcastic, does nobody get that? He's f-king with the media.

I can't believe they question his will to win. I'm pretty damn sure he's competitive, and he doesn't want to lose. He just doesn't show it. He's a great Macro-manager, and he's looking at the big picture. I think Phil is a proven coach, and the media is just trying to talk about something.

Honestly, everyday I turn on ESPN, so much of it is just FLUFF and GARBAGE. I can understand somewhat, because the entire channel (or two), is just dedicated to sports, and they need some more to talk about.

My crack theory is ESPN is still against Kobe. They only have to give him credit now because Kobe has made his way back up to the top (or within the top levels). You can clearly tell they favor Lebron more, and I guess it makes sense. He's been more marketable since 2005.

agreed. dont get byron scott anywhere near this team..., dude couldnt last in freaking new jersey OR new orleans...he is another scottt skiles 2-3 years of non winning high level play then total burnout. both skiles and byron would make great college coaches though, for the above reasons.

Skip Bayless is not the source I would trust when it comes to insight on the Lakers. He's a whining, attention seeking, hater who lives to stir up controversy especially when it comes to high profile players, coaches or teams.

Phil has always made little biting comments about all his players including Kobe. This is nothing new, and until I hear Kobe say he has issue with it, it's a non-story in my book. The bigger concern is finding continuity, passion and focus with this team.

All you guys trying to discredit Byron Scott.....probably don't know a damn thing about coaching period. I'm leaving it at that.
