Shem wrote:Get LA out of there now. If I was Nate, I would put Cunningham in for him and have him try to shut down Maggette. Maggette owns Aldridge tonight and Aldridge clearly can't hit a shot to save his life and pretty much is useless right now.

 I agree, but it's funny to see these back to back.

Blazers named Roy are shooting 79%. Blazers not named Roy are shooting 31%.

I fear that my TV is in danger of me throwing things at it.

By the way, Maggette owning Aldridge is nothing new. Maggette has wrecked Aldridge every time I've seen them matched up together.

Watching GSW try to guard roy is like watching girls try to guard boys. (no offense to the girls out there)

So when does Cunningham get a chance to guard Maggette? No instead Nate puts Webster in to chuck up bricks.

Yeah, Nate's an idiot +100000....

At the start of the fourth quarter, every Warrior with a FGA is shooting at least 50%.

people will declare that not much should be read into this game if it is lost. i completely and utterly disagree. this game is indicative of whether or not this team is a playoff team. at the very least, Portland is going to be swept in the first round.

assuming they can even make the playoffs! crap, Memphis is playing far better basketball!

ehh I get what you are saying but bottom line is every team doesn't have Corey Maggette and Monta Ellis. Aldridge doesn't play like a complete scrub vs other teams usually.

with that said... this team is Roy and a bunch of other guys that arent capable of being difference makers it seems so yeah... doing damage in the playoffs is unlikely at this point. you just can't trust these other players to come through night in and night out. :(

nobody has taken a step to improve if you look at it. possibly Batum but he still doesn't get enough minutes so..

Most teams punish GS inside, but not Portland, because we don't have any scoring threats inside without Greg Oden (who dominated GS earlier this year). LaMarcus once again shows that he's not a real "power forward". When his little fade away jumper isn't falling, he's not of much use.

It's kinda sad, we're this big, slow paced half court team that can't even freakin punish a little small ball team inside.

This is the kind of game we have to win in order to have a shot at moving up the standings. Can we seriously not take the 3rd worst team in the league?
