Free agency starts today for offering contracts to our own players, tomorrow for other people's.

there are three sets of rankings

1. Best Rebuild Team - Based on young talent/salary cap/future outlook in general

2. Best Contender - only factors in talent

3. How did the GM do with what they were given. Did the GM do a good job and make smart decisions or did they totally destroy what the team had. This is the most important rankings imho, and everyone should take a look at what GMs started out with and what they ended up with. Factor in everything. Future Draft Picks/Salary Cap/Talent Level etc.

only if they were seniors in the NCAA. If they were not then we are going to assume they didnt declare.

Miami would like to make Jared Dudley happy and get him somewere he will get more PT. He has played great this season as a Defender off thebench guarding 2's, 3's and 4's. Plus he is shooting 45% from 3!

looking for either a young backup PG or to add a 2011 pick since I have none

I'm looking to reduce numbers on my team, looking for an experienced PG to take this team forward.

Leandro Barbosa (decent player + expirer), Eric Maynor (great prospect), Jason Kapono (expirer) and my 2011 1st available for the right player.

Just to give you all an update on my team (I'll update my roster page tonight), I've currently got the following under contract:

C - Andrew Bynum
C - Hamady N'Diaye (you may not be familiar, but he was just named Big East DPOY, 4.5 BPG!!!)
C - Joel Anthony
C - Eddy Curry (probably being waived)

PF - Lamar Odom
PF - JJ Hickson
PF - Eduardo Najera

SF - Rashard Lewis
SF - Joey Graham
SF - Jason Kapono

SG - Wesley Matthews
SG - Leandro Barbosa
SG - LaceDarius Dunn (leads NCAA in 3 pts made, shoots them at 42%)

PG - Ty Lawson
PG - Eric Maynor
PG - Sundiata Gaines

As I said before, open to offers on all but Ty/Bynum, Odom is hard to get without receiving a good PF in return, and I'm looking for a solid veteran PG.

I will be making a decision over who to release in the next couple of days, so if you want any of my expirers (Curry/Kapono/Barbosa), let me know!

According to multiple sources Nate Robinson has signed a long term deal with the Houston Rockets. The Rockets love this move giving them a scoring boost off the bench. Nate loves the chance to play with Boozer/Parker and the newly aquired GILLY.

the deal breaks down like this.

2010 - 2010 $5,000,000
2011 - 2012 $5,000,000
2012 - 2013 $5,000,000
2013 - 2014 $5,000,000 (ETO)
2014 - 2015 $5,000,000 (PO)

Dirk is not on the block, per se, but is not untouchable either.
