WAS trades 2010 CHA 2nd
OKC trades 2011 UTA 2nd

Rationale: The CHA pick is late and the Wizards still have 5 other picks in this draft. Utah is a middle of the road team and if they struggle next year the pick could be pretty valuable.

Miami and NJ have a deal to announce

Miami will send their 2012 2nd, PHX 2012 2nd and ATL's 2013 1st to NJ for the 31st pick (1st in the 2nd round)

We want a prospect that is available now instead of waiting a few years

the reasoning is pretty simple there wasnt any prospects i liked enough to not make this deal worth it.

The Denver Nuggets would like to announce that they are sending the 39th pick of the 2010 draft, Dexter Pittman, to Europe to develop for one season. We will be retaining his rights.

well its not really you sending him, you cant actually do that. Basically he decide himself he would go to Europe, possibly because he can get more money.

Are you sure that you can't send a player to go play overseas for a season? Because I think that's what the Mavs did with Nick Calathes... it's like they tell the player that there is no roster room for him this season and to go play well overseas with the promise of a roster spot pending good performance in Europe.

The Mavs and the Timberwolves have reached an agreement!

Dallas gives: Joel Przybilla, Andrew Ogilvy, 2011 Second Round Pick (from Memphis), 2012 Second Round PIck (from Minnesota)
Dallas gets: Thaddeus Young, Kosta Koufos
outgoing: $7,905,300
incoming: $4,200,580

Minnesota gives: Thaddeus Young, Kosta Koufos
Minnesota gets: Joel Przybilla, Andrew Ogilvy, 2011 Second Round Pick (from Memphis), 2012 Second Round PIck (from Minnesota)
outgoing: $4,200,580
incoming: $7,905,300
Minnesota is far enough under the cap for this to work.

Dallas accepts. It's tough to lose a vet like Przybilla and a recent draft pick, but we like the prospects we're getting. Koufos is young and should develop nicely with increased playing time, and we think Young is already a decent starter who could very well become a star in this league.

This trade starts the rebuild for Dallas. Kidd, Marion, Arenas, Battier, and Dampier (with his useful contract) are all on the block, and even Dirk could be moved at the right price.

Calthis signed overseas predraft. If the team does not want to sign the guy they can ASK him to sign in Europe, if the player does not want to agree to it, the player simply has to show up at camp and the team either HAS to give him a min contract (ins reasons) or waive his rites.

Since this is a game, you simply do not sign him and you keep his rites

Minnesota accepts. We're pretty stacked with prospects at the SF position and love Joel's defense. Pretty high on Ogilvy as well, it balances our roster pretty well.

What was Joel's injury status at the start of the game? Wasn't he playing?

Houston and Dallas have agreed to a pretty big deal.

Houston trades:

Andrei Kirilenko $17,823,000
Jermiane Taylor $780,871
2011 Clippers 2nd rounder

Dallas trades:

Gilbert Arenas $17,730,693

Clearly the Salaries work.

Why? GIlbert Arenas is a star. Simply put. He was suspended for the 2009-2010 season. We are currently in the 2010-2011 season so he is "playing". We take on some what of a risk here cuz he has a pretty big contract, but we feel it is worth is since we aren't giving up much here. We liked Taylor alot for his potential and AK47 is a huge expiring, which has a lot of value in these games, but again we feel we had to do this deal. Arenas/Boozer combo is one that i like alot.

Dallas accepts. Arenas is still very talented, but with his large contract, he didn't fit into our rebuilding plan.

Accepted. With GIlbert on board now, we need some defenders. THis deal gives us 2 instead of one. ALso with nate on board now, we no longer needed beaubois. Good dealing again.

2013 2nd.
